Shoreline Motel
Requested an early check in of 1-2pm. Was told it may not be feasible due to low staff. Completely understood so we moved our timetable around to arrive later. Arrived at 3.40pm and the room wasn't ready until 4pm, that's 6 hours after checkout. When coming into the room it was a horrible cleaning chemical smell, we noted our infant was staying on the booking too. There's also not curtains on every window in the 2nd floor units. Not a great experience and won't be staying again.

Unhygienic, and dirty, had blood stains throughout our room, and over one of our single beds, my fiancée is now being blamed for the blood throughout the room but no one sleeping in that bed had a cut let alone tall enough to reach the end of the bed. The rooms haven’t been vacuumed and mould throughout the bathrooms. Do not stay here.

The buildings and rooms are a bit dated, but clean and the staff are friendly and eager to help. Location is great, walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. When i stayed the motel was short staffed so they were not offering daily room cleanings/launderings, but fresh towels were available every day.

I stayed in a ground level unit. The room was dingy and outdated with marks on the walls. Table felt sticky and the room had an unpleasant smell to it. There was a spa bath, that in my opinion was not easy to get into, you have to step up and almost crawl along to get to it! However this and the bathroom were the cleanest in the unit and the bed was pretty comfy.

Shoreline motel and its staff are amazing. Charlie in reception is super helpful and always goes an extra mile to make your stay pleasant.The rooms are clean and having a spa in the suit is awesome!Would definitely recommend.

Shoreline Motel
Spa needs servicing, jets not working properly. Notices about spa cut off times is confusing. Most signs say 11pm then 2 say 10pm. Which is it? Rooms are starting to look tired & the TV signal was appalling. Fantastic sea views from the 2nd floor & was nice to wake to sun rise over the ocean. The bed was huge & comfortable.

My mother and I stayed here o/night in a 2 x bedroom unit. The unit was on the ground floor & was very quiet & comfortable. I thought it was a bit rough paying just over $200 for a room where the net curtains were ripped & the bathroom while semi - functional, left a lot to be desired. The shower over the bath flooded the floor, as the shower head couldn't be adjusted enough & my mother found climbing over the bath to have a shower, too awkward. Beds were comfortable & road noise, not an issue.

Sky TV was in the book left on the table couldn't find any of the channels in the guest magazine. Kept on saying we only have five channels. Was sad as a friend of mine has stayed with you before and had stayed up watching TV witch was the reason for booking the hotel in the first place. Place was all good I might be back if you get sky TV I'm my room many thanks.

Excellent quality accommodation. Hugh spacious facility, we loved the spa pool and the king size bed. Lovely sheets and bedding. Large lounge and cooking facilities. Happily stay again. Reception staff friendly and efficient.
