We bought the Tolv sofa set and we are very happy with our purchase. The service provided from Dawson & Co right from the very beginning through to the delivery was very satisfactory, especially the service provided by Alexandra and Catherine Carryer.

Not a customer yet, but like the store top-class fancy style.

Quality furniture. Had problems with post purchase coordination and shipping which ultimately required a conversation with the owner who came through in the end for a positive outcome. Pleasant friendly helpful staff.

We purchased a lot of furniture here as the product looks incredible. We have since had issues with nearly every item. Limited help to solve including no help to fix an outside sofa that has broken, fabric stitching ripping and multiple other issues with other items. I have contacted the shop previously but with limited support. That said, the shop looks great.

We had a great experience when we purchased our umbrella. However when it stopped working was a different story. Tue, Wed, Thur I was in contact with a friendly yet ineffectual guy. Fri my hubby calls, and gets through to the service manager. Vague accusation of 'misuse' and not covered under warranty. We'll have to pay $125 for pickup and again for return, and pay if the repair is due to our 'misuse'. A lot of waffle, finally got the address for the warehouse. They won't be able to fix it that day.… I met the warehouse guy - he fixed in 2 hours - it was faulty. Finally someone who can help. No followup from the store. For a high quality store such as Dawson I am dismayed their product broke on us, the palaver getting it sorted, and the accusation we'd done something. We spent the final week of our summer holiday unable to get outside.

I have purchased several items from Dawsons and my dealings with Kris the salesperson have always been good. My theory was if I spent a bit more on furniture, the quality should be good right? Unfortunately we have had several issues with several pieces of furniture - firstly our Jardinico umbrellas which both had a small hole in the fabric found within the first year after purchase. We dealt with Michael who organised to have the covers replaced. Since we have had issues with bolts shearing on the bracing arm of one of the umbrellas and we are still trying to source the correct bolts from Dawsons. They keep sending the wrong size bolts and in the meantime we are unable to use this umbrella. We then have had the strapping/webbing break on a 3 year old Motu outdoor couch as well as one of the armchairs. Once again they have collected the furniture and committed to fix the issue. We have been waiting an unacceptable time to have the furniture returned to us. We also purchased Kora furniture which Dawsons has stocked in the past and the strapping/webbing has broken on one of our chairs - light grey chair in photo (I must point out that we did purchase the Kora furniture elsewhere and is now unfortunately 2 weeks out of warranty) and after speaking with someone at Dawsons about this brand of furniture they suggested it was perhaps something in the beach environment where we live that was causing the issues we are experiencing. Both the Motu and Kora furniture brands were marketed as withstanding the harsh NZ conditions but the straps in our case broke within 3 years. I guess my point here is that you clearly do not necessarily get better quality if you spend more money. Probably better off to buy furniture half the price and replace after 5 years.

Really awesome selection of beautiful designer furniture. Their Timothy Oulton collection is brilliant and the service in great. Highly recommended if you are furnishing a house or looking for real inspiration!

Great furniture that is very tasteful although very pricey. Would have loved to order more pieces from here than we were able to. Ordered two large items, the staff were friendly and efficient and happy to quote things up for me for other items I was also considering. One of my pieces of furniture arrived damaged once unpacked and they looked after it for me and arranged a replacement very quickly - so I appreciated the great customer service.

Just tried to get some assistance with picking up some furniture post-purchase. Was told by the floor staff that They can't help me because they have to follow their processes. I asked them to call the warehouse and was told Sorry

We purchased a couch from Dawson & Co. This couch is only 3 years old and the fabric has disintegrated in areas of the couch that aren't even touched. Our last fabric couch lasted us 15 years and even then it was still in good condition. I contacted Dawson & Co almost a month ago and they have shown little intent to resolve this faulty product. They've advised they only guarantee the fabric for 1 year - so beware if you are buying furniture from this company. When you pay good money for a couch, you expect the fabric to last longer than 3 years. An upholsterer has advised it can't be fixed, the whole couch has to be recovered at a cost of $1500, of which Dawson & Co have advised they will not cover that cost. They keep saying they are waiting to hear back from the couch supplier, which provides no meaningful solution to my current issue. Dawson & Co have shown a real lack of after sales support for the products they sell and endorse.
