Aroy Thai Eatery - Lower Hutt
Probably my least favourite Aroy Thai in New Zealand and I've bern to all minus the Sylvia Park one. Very nice staff. I ordered the massaman curry and the smell reminded me of the JB Hi Fi in Wellington. As for taste, it was pretty tasty. Would come here again.

Great Experience. Clean Restaurant. Food to table was very quick. Great place to go for anyone wanting some quick yummy thai. Ordered the Spring rolls, Roti with Peanut sauce to start. Mains - Crispy Chicken with Garlic rice and the Chilli Chicken + Fried egg. Delicious. #ThaiFood

Ordered the Crispy pork as I enjoyed it at the Porirua restaurant but this was meh, overcooked pork and undercooked veges. My friend had ordered the curry and requested for mild but it was defs spicier than what it’ll normally be like as that is what she usually orders..mentioned it to staff but they said it’s how it’s supposed to be. Alrightyy. 2 stars overall bc the bathroom was also nasty, clogged toilet

Stopped in Lower Hutt and googled Thai food and ended up here. Nice food, well presented, tasty and at a great price . Quick service, we dined in . Happy to recommend Aroy Thai Eatery.

Some of the staff were quite downbeat and difficult to feel well communicated with. Food was overall great, although my lemongrass chicken was very ammonia-y. Still yum. Nice space, good ordering system and cute little shop too.

More good food, delivered to the table in record time, consistent with other Aroy restaurants. Great place to grab a meal before a movie, as you can rely on speedy service.

Food was slow to come out, everything was overcooked, service was random. Some of us had finished meals before others got theirs. No working toilet, in a busy restaurant, I watched at least 15 people go to use the toilet, manager didn’t care at all. Won’t be going back.
