Kerry Martin Midwife

Had a really upsetting and negative experience with Green Bay midwifes.We sought out to use Green Bay midwives as like you, we had heard really good reviews.But our experience only showed a lack of professionalism, lack of proactivity and lack of care or concern for a first time mum.Long story short, after being confirmed that Kerry would be our midwice before the Christmas break, we were happy.We reached out to Kerry on Christmas saying how happy we were and looking forward to working with her. We didn't receive any response for 2-3 weeks, which was understandable as it was Christmas after all.However, after the 3 weeks (In Jan), due to the lack of proactivity from their side, we got in touch with them again.We finally received some contact and were asked for our details, health history etc. We filled the form and sent it back.....only to have another period of no response. We nervously contacted her and the head of the clinic again to see what's happening, as we were due for a checkup now, almost a month later.AND at this point we were told by Kerry that she can't be our midwife as she wasn't returning back to work. There was clearly something missing as she was back at work and asking for her details.We called the head mid wife, and she said that we can't take you as we have no space for you later in the year. This was very different to what we were told by the other midwife.Again, this is just OUR experience and maybe a one-off and may not reflect everything they do.We are with Titirangi mid-wives now, and much much happier!

We had a wonderful experience with Kerry Martin and the Green Bay midwives.Kerry was our LMC for both of our daughters. One born pre-pandemic and one in the middle of the pandemic when midwives were having to navigate stressful and changing times.Kerry was always easy to get ahold of, professional and lovely to be around. Her back-up midwives were always available when she wasn’t on call.We had such a wonderful experience with both pregnancies and births with our daughters and Kerry always shared in our joy and excitement of bringing new life into the world.I would highly recommend Kerry and the Green Bay midwives
