Went to 99 bikes Manukau to get a new tyre for my 2/12 year old grandsons bike. Wow what a pleasant experience. The young man Jack was so friendly and informative and told what i needed and then put the new tyre on for me. Its so nice to see someone that is friendly and helpful. Will definately go back there from now on.

Friendly and helpful service. These guys went above and beyond to assemble and then re-box our bikes for our riding adventures whilst visiting NZ. Amazing care was taken to package them perfectly for our flight back to Australia. Grateful for the quick turnaround at both ends of our trip. Thanks guys!

I went in to pick up another item I had purchased online, and while there asked David about the Marin Gestalt X10. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, and I went away with the intention of buying the bike in the future. As it turned out, the future was only several days, and I went back and test rode the bike, then put a holding deposit on it. Today I returned to pay the balance and was helped by Tanya, who was also very helpful , and had excellent customer service skills. She went through the sale process, and checked that all the safety checks and pre delivery checks were completed. It was a pleasant experience shopping at 99 Bikes Manukau, and I will be back to shop again in the future.

I am a Canadian cyclist and after biking in New-Zealand for 8 weeks, I went to 99 Bikes Manukau, in order to get a bike box and a few odds and ends for my return trip to Canada from Auckland. They were extremely friendly and helpful and I was very happy with my interactions with the owner and employees. They are true biking friends, these guys. We’re slowly bumbling our way through all of the beginner issues that you run into with a new hobby, and Jack from Manukau has been fantastic!He’s very patient, and very helpful, especially when we’re asking the most basic of basic questions about our new bikes (“the pedals…they’re for pedalling, right???”).Also, he has been enormously helpful with guiding us on simple upgrades that help our ride, and has being a genuinely welcoming person. The opposite of the “too cool gatekeeper”.Couldn’t recommend more!

Prices are reasonable and the staffs are amazing! David, Wayne, Jack, Tanya and Daniel are so nice! All of the helped me in different ways in different situations. They are very helpful, kind, polite and knowledgeable. I always feel welcomed every time I come and visit. This is my go to bike shop. My first choice.
