When you decide to close please write on your door note where is the nearest branch that is open for your customers to go as a substitute. I came long distance then I found you closed then I headed to howick branch and I found it closed too. Should I go all around Auckland to find a branch

Great bank,the staff are great and friendly,there's not usually a wait to get things done,if there is a queue it usually doesn't take long to get sorted out,parking can be a bit of pain though when the shopping centre is busy.

Had to wait 20 minutes (while someone else cut the queue and the staff did nothing) to be told that ASB no longer does currency exchange, not even for those with ASB accounts who need to deposit the money rather than just exchanging. There isn't even an international exchange close by.

A really frustrating and inefficient process to open a bank account as a new resident to NZ. It took more than a week to complete the process and required the branch to physically send a letter to my new address even though I had received a letter from ASB with my card attached! Westpac were much more flexible.Regardless of all this, Leo was very proactive in communicating the process and helping to progress things.. it’s just a shame that the bank have such a backwards & inflexible policy.
