Zenders Cafe and Venue
Nice cafe with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Place is well decorated and the outside gardens are beautifully kept. The inside dining room is full of natural light and has lots of windows offering lovely views of the grounds.Lots to choose from on the menu and a small cabinet selection. I enjoyed the mushroom medley and an iced latte, good espresso. If you’re looking for something new/different in Hamilton, I would say this is a great spot for any special occasion. I subtracted 1 star as I feel the prices are slightly higher than similar offerings in Hamilton.There is ample parking, clean toilets and they offer wifi.

Hidden treasure , love the place, quiet , cosy, staff are friendly , not to mention their food .This place for sure will be my regular meeting place .

Not really my style. We went for a brunch and a dinner but in both cases the food wasn't particularly good, it seems like it lacks a little spice. The service is fine but quick, there is no time for chatting before they take away your plate or the tray, people that work here are very nice though. The venue is good.

Amazing experience! Always lovely environment here, and the staff are so personable. Couldn't rate the dutch style pancakes highly enough (both sweet and savoury). A very delicious brunch as we venture our way around the country!

Awesome service. Truly amazing food. The atmosphere is so relaxed and it feels very authentic, reminds me of sitting in an old Dutch ladies house as a child with all the trinkets and pictures on the wall.

Really disappointed as got there early for the apple tart advertised the day before, even had the sign outside saying coffee tastes good with apple tart and none there. Arrived at 9.40am and it did say get in early but how early is early on a Sunday.Had a breakfast too which came to $36 as had to buy extras to make it a reasonable size and even then the bacon was tiny and only one poached egg. Disappointed. Would say come here for a lunch/dinner and not cycle for breakfast or a cafe type stop as more reasonable places to go. Oh and 2% surcharge for payWave or credit which is ridiculous when you charge those kind of prices.

My friends and I went on the 12th of February. We wanted to do brunch, however we found a deal on First Table and so paid a deposit to make a booking at 9:00am, with the First Table deal being half price off 2 meals. There was a huge party that got seated before us and the wait staff told us that they would have to finish serving the table next to us before we could order. They took our drink orders but otherwise didn't acknowledge us until they were ready to take our breakfast order. I don't think we even ordered food till 9:30 didn't get our food till almost 10 and two of our meals came out incorrect but we didn't want to make a fuss. The food was good, however when we went to pay we were told that we could not have the First Table discount as we were not the first Table that they seated and served. First Table said that we should have still been eligible for the discount and that Zenders would reach out to my friend who made the booking, but if I'm correct they didnt reach out. Food was good and venue was pretty but overall the service wasn't worth the trip out to Hamilton or going in at 9:00am.
