AA Centre - Penrose

A well oiled machine by all accounts. It can be frustrating waiting in long queues at AA centres but they run a tight ship here. Just went in and out in 2 minutes for a rego replacement. I’ll take that.Hamish DorringtonKakapo Business Sales

Good and friendly staff. Took me over an hour in the queue and would've been longer if a few people in front of me hadn't given up and left early. I'm told it's usually like this unless you go first thing in the morning. I'm surprised AA haven't figured out how to sort this out yet but in the meantime, 10 extra seats would be a welcome addition. Luckily I enjoyed chatting to the person beside me in the queue and feel like I know them quite well now. TIP: Take some knitting with you or a hobby you've always wanted to take up but haven't had the time.

This AA center has a large lobby. Lots of staff work in there. As a result, you will see queue is less than other AA centers nearby.Parking is also available at the rear.

I want to make a complaint to Annabel at AA Centre Penrose store. it was the worst experience ever. she was totally rude and disrespectful to me and my husband as we are Chinese. She treated us differently with other kiwi customers. The thing is, she is a Chinese as well. When she talked to us, I can hear nothing, just because her voice is really really low and we had to closer and closer to the windshield, but still, I can’t hear. But when she services the local people, she smalls all the time, and she is so nice and patient, I can hear clearly what were they talking about even though I’m on the back! On the second time we came back to her, I said to Annabel: can you up your voice please? She just rolled her eyes and said: “this is my normal voice, I’m already loud.” we just wanted to sort it out our things but she is the staff, I need her help! Unfortunately she just seems doesn’t care and I feel like I’ve been treated unfairly. My husband and I are really angry about this. Please take it seriously, I’ve heard another people complaint about her online as well. she should not be work here any longer. The other staff are nice, except Annabel.

Very limited stuff at Penrose AA center very long wait for international licenses conversion and only one hard working lady. Please need to improve and make proper system for international driving licenses and don't waste your and others time because time is very important for everyone and if you guys has to much time then open gaming center instead of licenses conversion center

Such a rude Indian Female Staff member behind the counter.Told me to get in line when I went to ask a question about Real Me.I did what she asked waited 45mins I was up next as I was going towards her counter she told me she will serve someone else?? Who just happened to be an Indian whom she summoned over from the queue.Appalling way to treat a Customer. As it was I was having difficulty standing due to my Osteoarthritis. Another Customer noticed what this staff member did to me and mentioned how rude she was doing this too me being old.She needs to be fired or Management need to have a word with her and send her on a Customer Service course. Thank goodness there was a lovely Chinese gentleman that served and apologized for his colleague's rudeness.

Worst experience ever.. I have visited there for same work every year and last Monday, I waited for 1 hour to talk one of staff. The staff seemed like new and he did not know how to do the process of my request, finally I left my contact nomber and back to office. He tald me that he will ring me when he is ready to process. I am strill waiting and trying to ring them but no one answer the phone. Do I have to visit the AA Penrose again and wait for anther hour then ask him whether you are ready to process my request ?

Most convenient AA location for me and very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy and sometimes you are lucky but other times you had to be patient and wait in line just like any other office. Have an open mind and pick your visit hours before u set sail in order to avoid huge lines …

I have just today renewed my driver licence at the AA Penrose branch and thought the service provided by Leena Sheth was outstanding. More specifically, I had to have a prior medical because of the HT class and so when I arrived I had already completed one form. Standing in the que Leena came over and said I needed to fill another form in, and went and got that for me and showed me where to sit down and fill it out. I did that and stood in the que again. Leena noticed I was back a few places in the que and guided me aside to complete the necessary paperwork and go up and get my photo taken before issuing me a temporary licence. It was all very convenient. Leena also asked me if I wanted to join as an AA Member, which was well done, albeit on this occasion I declined because my wife and daughter are already members. Five Star rating for service! thank you. CB
