The Stoaker Room Wanaka
Visited twice during our stay in NZ. It was that good! Delicious food cooked like we have never tasted before. Service was amazing with staff that took time to talk and make our experience special each time. The wine was also great. Can’t wait to come back just for another meal and some more excellent wine.

I think they have a lot of potential, but the food wasn't great. I asked for my steak medium rare and it was definitely on the rare side, the seasonal veges" seemed like they just threw together whatever was left over (it was were pretty much a whole onion and some undercooked brussel sprouts

A lovely place to have a birthday celebration. Travelled from Auckland.The large dinner platter was exceptional as is the wine.Be careful, DARK entrance, park the car, no lights, oops stood in a puddle.Signage on main road is also difficult to see in the Dark, it too could be lit up.

Called in late last week for dinner (one gluten and dairy free plus two others), two of us had the big platter which looked intimidating when it arrived but was the perfect size for two hungry people. I had the burger, which again was excellent - the venison was our most liked . Busy and great service.

We were lucky to be accommodated last minute for our anniversary dinner when we decided against our original dinner plans, and we were very happy we did. Our waitress was very welcoming and attentive to us. I was impressed by the rose which we ended up getting a bottle of. My partner had the steak and said “it’s the best steak I’ve ever had”. The pork main was delish and the sauces were just great! They accomodated my GF requirements very well. Special mention for the sticky date/meringue dessert I got — it was up there with the best I’ve had too. Thanks for having us!

I can't describe how good this was. Smoky taste in steaks, great beer and very friendly staff. We loved how they were making sure we are happy with their service! Great new spot!!

I had an awesome experience at The Stoaker Room in Wanaka. Sampled a few tasty beers on tap and had some delicious slow cooked food. The service and ambiance were perfect. It was an awesome spot to catch up with friends and made for a really memorable night.

We would often make a trip to Cromwell from Wanaka to The Stoaker Room so we were so excited when they opened in Wanaka. I have already got to get a meal there couple of times and it was a great experience. Amazing food, lovely staff, good vibes and great selection of food. Keep up the good work Stoaker room! ❤️

Amazing evening meal, genuinely incredible food, beautiful place, took us in last minute on a Tuesday night. The wine selection was beautiful.
