I booked the smallest car option for a two day visit, and ended up with a larger car, which was a delight to drive. When I had to extend my stay (twice!), Kevin couldn't have been more accommodating. I will definitely use Pacific again when I need to stay in Tauranga. Good rates, and easy and pleasant to deal with.

Hired a car out with broken rear taillight, which eventually broke off. Charged us for the full cost of repair and claimed the tail light was not broken..but clearly shown in photo below provided prior to pick up. They claim it is merely a shadow...(you can see from their response they never mention the clear evidence of the photo below). I would check your car out thoroughly before renting from this crowd.

Would thoroughly recommend. Hired car from cruise ship.... easy, affordable, reliable and we were given the opportunity to drop the car at the port and leave the keys with port security giving us the best value day for half the price others were charging. Well done, made our day in Tauranga and Rotorua memorable.

Pacific Auto rentals were able to fit my family into a last minute rental when we got off our cruise ship and the price was way better than expected for an 8-seater van. The shuttle will pick up and drop off near the port. Would recommend from our current experience.
