Auckland Harbour Suites

Good location with close proximity to fish market, good restaurants and Skycity but it’s pretty old and different from the display photos. Staff isn’t friendly, lift foyer and corridors are really old and narrow have to walk carefully with luggages. May need a bit of touch up on room doors and some walls.

Booked for 3x nights (business trip) and have to cancel the 2 remaining nights after the first night horrible experience..-Several large visible stains on the curtains.-Unpleasant smell (like an old used damp rug).-Crooked/chipped and dusty corners.-No temperature control inside the bedroom.-Room security not granted (manual double lock not available) therefore, you cannot sleep in peace.-Clogged drain in the bathroom so you remain feeling dirty even after showering.-Tiny bathroom/toilet.-No toiletries holder in the bathroom.-Curtains are transparent so the bulb lights from outside made the room bright at night time (not conducive for a good night sleep).-Queen size bed was only two double beds stocked together making the centre area not too comfortable.-Bed mattress is not soft so it feels like you are sleeping on a floor.-Dirty carpets.-Dusty and muddy windows.-Small and old elevators.-Very tiny hallways.So if you value your emotional, physical and mental well-being, avoid this place at all cost. Would not even considered as at least 2-star accommodation at any way.

We stayed while attending a show at Spark Arena. Location was a 12 minute walk. Tv did not have very good reception, aircon leaked all over carpet leaving a large wet area. Room was advertised as upgrade, not sure this happened as no views and on a low level. We left a toothbrush charger and moisturizer in the bathroom. Checked out on the Thursday and realized on Sunday when we returned home. Emailed the team, who advised they had chucked the items in the rubbish. Little disappointed at how quick they were to dispose of items.

Great hotel in the perfect location. Rooms are a little dated and need some work on them, but they have everything we wanted in a room for our stay. Beds were comfy and rooms quiet. Amazing views of city. Staff were very friendly also. Would definitely come back here again when visiting AKL.

The photos for this hotel are highly deceptive. We paid extra for the “Harbour view” now this view is only visible from the master bedroom from the far left side of the window, due to massive under construction building higher than this hotel. This means you need to have the full block out curtains closed so as construction men are not looking straight into your window- there are no see through curtains.The washing machine was broken- granted they gave us a key to another room on our level to take our washing to to wash. The hotel suit itself is very outdated and the carpet very old- there is a very musty smell / dark. The gunk build up in the shower glass frame is awful. All in all the price for what this hotel is does not match. The people who live there permanently reflect the rating of this hotel. Two stars. We were informed they would waive our parking fee of $90. We shall see.

More taller building is under construction right nextdoor. It's very noisy because it's under construction from early morning and you can't see the sea well.It's in the heart of the city. it's nice to have a convenience store and a few restaurants in the building. It's close to the harbor and train station, and there's some e-scooters always in front of the building, so it's good for traveling.

DO NOT STAY HERE!Not a nice area of the CBD, staff are rude, hotel is now a MSD housing facility, felt very unsafe.Room was disgusting, harbour view of absolutely nothing except a construction sight. Bugs in the corner of the room. Queen bed was two singles pushed together that came apart at the slightest hint of movement. Tv didn’t work. Loud all through the night. Pool was dirty and impossible to get into. Gym was a miserable excuse.Refused to give our deposit back, took 10 days, constant phone calls where the staff blamed everyone else but themselves, accused it of being my fault, and I ended up having to get Expedia and their Australian management involved.You’ve been warned, read the reviews and do not stay here!!

The location of the hotel is great, it’s the very CBD. The view is beautiful, you can see all the Auckland.The kitchen has oven and dishwasher, there is even washing machine and dryer. The staff is friendly and helpful. They checked us earlier. Our room was quite big. They provide daily service.

The wifi was extremely slow, even slower than my mobile 5G. I was told it’s the bad weather which didn’t make sense. The service was poor and rude attitude. The photos doesn’t represent the reality of the space. The gym equipments are old and lack of maintenance. It’s over priced and would never go back again.
