This is our go-to stop, everytime we come to the Hawkes Bay. Wine tasting is always very informative and a great selection of wines. We get the Market Platter and are never disappointed, great value and very tasty. Dog and Child friendly. This is little gem of a place with views over the Vineyard and out to the sea.

Extremely disappointed. Do not recommend. We purchased a $40 bottle but our tasting fee was not waived at all. I understand it is normal to charge a tasting fee but it is usually waived on bottle purchase but they did not. We have been to 7 wineries in the last 2 days and most wineries do a seated independent tasting experience one-on-one. This winery did a standing tasting in random groups which you had to wait 15mins for as they had tasting sessions". Other more reputable wineries such as Elephant Hill had better venue and service. Even they waived their tasting fees for bottle purchases of a certain amount. Do not recommend."

Such a beautiful place, located away from the city. Did wine tasting and had a yummy pizza. Loma was so wonderful and informative.Just wish there were more options on the menu.

We randomly stopped off here on the way past after a gannet safari, very pleased we did as the wine tasting was $5 per head, refunded per head per bottle purchased.The wines here are made by the excellent internationally renowned head vintner, Rod McDonald. The Syrah is awesome, as too are many of the whites. You can stay here and also eat, the food looked amazing, though we didn’t have chance to sample in this occasion.

What a fantastic place. We were there late in the afternoon, as the last winery we visited for the day. We didn't have a meal, and yet were there for a long time, despite being the only guests. To say that we were looked after was an understatement. We were taken through the full range. The winemaker's take on some varieties was astounding, along with a couple of award winners. There were wines for everyone, with some that we will drink with family on Christmas Day, to others that have gone in the wine fridge for years. We shipped a box back home and it probably won't be the last. The winery has a fun vibe with great wines.And no, I was driving, so it wasn't just the fact that it was the 'last winery of the day' and a few wines that made it fantastic! It did, however, top off the day.

Nice surrounds. Relaxed atmosphere. Possibly too relaxed. 45 minute wait on pizzas rolled out to well past an hour. In the end we just cancelled the order and hit the road. Not overly busy—I reckon they just crossed a wire. Bummer for us and pizza lovers everywhere.

Great wine and pizza, what more could you ask for. Stopped in to do a wine tasting but will have to go back for the tasting as no tasting is done between 12 to 2 30 because of the lunch rush. Got a pizza and a glass of wine and loved them both. I'll be back for sure.

Simply wonderful place. The staff were wonderful & we enjoyed a very informative wine tasting, followed by a glass of Rosé and Syrah with a delicious pizza. Stunning location and ambience overlooking the vineyards and some trees in bloom.

Wonderful service such a lovely location. Food was amazing not a wine person but the tasting experience was superb. Great shout out to the team there. Hundred pro-cent would recommend.

Great wine and amazing food!The Pinot Gris was delicious and the sharing platter and pizza was amazing, highly recommended. The staff were friendly and professional but were rushed off their feet due to being short staffed. The seating area is a bit limited but there is a great outlook over the vineyard and out to the ocean if you can get a table. Look forward to the next visit.
