Particularly I not recommend…Good things: The service was fast, the person who attended the reception was very polite. at check-in and check-out they were very kinda , thanks for this!The bed is comfortable, the location is very good.Negative points: The TV does not work, no channels are very old,there is no socket next to the bed, only a distant socket to use, but worst of all, the acoustics in the room, terrible.The phone wouldn't stop ringing, I woke up NUMEROUS times, 2…3amnoise from other rooms all night…a noise with what sounded like the processor in the kitchen sink… or a blender… very loud, very bad acousticsthe bathroom urgently needs a good cleaning, the toilet garbage was from the previous guest, and the shower was very dirty

Room smells like cigarette. We had to leave the door open for few days to get rid of the smell. Toilet were dirty, smells like urine.Location is good, some restaurant nearby. Close to supermarket.Would rather stay somewhere else if the room is all the same.

am with working holiday visa in Auckland, i'm argentinian, 3 weeks ago, after work I went with my colleagues to share a drink in that bar and when I approach the bar to ask for two glasses, a bartender who works in that place, called Lena In an aggressive way screaming and putting her finger close to my face she began to tell me to stop looking at her, at that moment I asked the other people what was happening and I knew that she had problems with some people from my work, i did not deserve that bad treatment because I have nothing to do with her problems and I will never return to that place.

Very unclean - avoid. I would question whether a cleaner actually came in and cleaned the room following the previous guests. As you can see from my pictures, the toilet was not clean at all and contained a surprise. The mattress had tagging on it and was generally in a state of uncleanliness. The walls had streaks of goodness knows what running down them. The bathroom floor hadn't been mopped and the hot water tap didnt shut off properly so that it continuously trickled hot water. I would've expected, at the very least, that the bathroom be in better shape than it was; when we booked through the third party site the hotel was shown as a 7.2 star accommodation. That certainly wasnt the experience given the cleanliness. I provided this information, photos and feedback to the hotel who didn't seem to take the feedback seriously. Would not recommend in the slightest

Very outdated, but clean. No complaints as it served its purpose, a cheap, clean place to stay close to all amenities. Overall, my partner and I enjoyed our night there.

Did not know how to get into the hotel as the reception is upstairs via the entrance from the gamingroom. Bed nicely done,but looks like the rooms were last cleaned few days ago although housekeeping was available. Lots of hair in the bathroom. First room I was checked into had hair and lollies paper and dusty. was shown another room with no windows and didn't like that. And the reception lady was getting mad at me when showing me another room saying is the last room I am seeing. And guess what this had the most hair of all the others and I was like am just here for one night. Definitely not worth the price.The location is great,close to public transportation and most attractions in town.I wouldn't recommend this hotel,my first and last stay.Hi there. Thanks for your response but please don't lie and say they offered me a refund,because if they had I would have taken it, But that was never mentioned by your staff However if you are to respond please be truthful and my review was sharing my experience it was your staff that got mad. Yes $90 is still money to deserve a clean room.

Pleasant enough, but on the Friday I visited, the karaoke had just ended at 11:00 PM.

Ideal for what we needed, which was a bed and shower. The room was clean. Sheets and towels were clean. Little coffee station was good. Would definitely be back if I was stuck in town again or having a night out. A bar downstairs and games room was pretty cool.

This was one of my watering holes many years back when pub crawling and sometimes brawling was standard often over a Sheila but mostly the pool table..that was then when pubs were on every corner...iplay pokies there and I've come out smiling more from there than I have leaving the casino.Picked up a babe there 30 or more yrs back when her boyfriend went to the bog..lol..Stella..heavy sigh....wish I had a foto

They make you feel like family plus I am going back in September for there 150 year. Plus STAFF was really good they made me and sister feel welcome we'll be going back there when we go back Auckland again I love the room we sleep in we were there 15 days owners were really nice we had fun there in the 2 pubs the workers in pubs were funny to get to know ill be tell my friends about this place.
