I have tried seafood chowder, Vietnamese Pho, beef stew, .....and they are so nice in my opinion. I can not eat MSG and I used to be sick of them when I eat food at some other restaurants in Wellington or Hutt but in here, it is all good for me. The smoothie, fuit juice are nice too.I am a household then I know how to cook a good broth for every soup. I need to use bone and meat too much and I they are too.This Cafe become a healthy shop to eat for me and my family all occasions.Sea food chowder and big breakfast is the best ever I have here. Sooooooo yummy.

Just stunning food. Stopped by on Sunday to go out with one of my friend. I had pancakes, which were beautifully presented and tasted so yummy. My friend had seafood chowder and she told me it just cannot be better. You get sourdough to go with that too. The coffee was nice and I liked the carrot cake---they give you a lot of cream too, if you ask for it. The staff was very polite, with lovely manners. It was worth the money.Definitely will come back again.

Discovered this cafe by accident. And WOW its amazing. It's so cute. You just feel welcome, spoilt & looked after. The food is really good quality & many choices. I want to go back to try them all. The coffee was yum. Super super hot which I love & it stayed hot for ages.They have a few table & chairs outside for hotter days.Owner & Team just lovely. Highly recommend a visit.Thank you so so much.Tracy

Absolutely stunning. The food was made with love , very flavour some, beautiful presentation and 100% delicious. We definitely will be back for breakfast again tomorrow before we go back to the Hawkes Bay.Customer service was 5 stars , The daughter was very thorough when it came to perfecting our order , double checking , loved that, her mannerism was amazing. The owner was so kind and welcoming. Awesome absolutely awesome. They are very catering when it comes to special demands eg. Asking for the bottle of tomato sauce.Beautiful establishment inside and out. We had the Big Breakfast , Smoked salmon bagels and a seafood chowder to share. The chowder was thin but reminded me of a traditional English chowder with the corn bits. We enjoyed it all , I added hollandaise sauce to my bagels. I also had a Soy Chai Vanilla Latte was perfectly made.

Nice people but 6 out of the seven dishes we had at lunch were not good. Chowder was thin, watery milk like with what looked like frozen vegetables and one piece of fish across two bowls. Very disappointing indeed for $108. Even thin, tasteless avocado spread on toast. Not good. I feel very sad having to write this as we took visitors from Australia there and I had to apologise after as I was embarrassed. The kids were so hungry they ate it anyway; but I don’t understand as the other reviews were good. Perhaps they were severely understaffed or no cook today. It was shockingly bad.

Super nice owners. The food is cooked beautifully.If you order a pot of tea you get a nice big cup and a pot of hot water so you can have two big cups of tea if you want. They also give you enough milk for two big cups of teeth. Love it.The toilets are super clean and there's a baby changing table in the larger toilet.The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. It's a great place to chill and enjoy a really good meal that is cooked by people who want you to enjoy your visit to their establishment.
