We stayed here purely on the reviews and they were right! Sam, staff and the locals were a great bunch. The rooms were fantastic - first time I've ever slept in a 4 poster bed and it was soooooo comfortable. Only 15 mins away from riverstone kitchen and castle. Thanks Sam, we'll be back!

Lovely outdoor seating for a memorial. A sad occasion in lovely surroundings. Perhaps two barstaff would have been better that the overworked young lady

I love visiting the Studholme Hotel. The staff here are extremely helpful. The accomodation is gorgeous and the beer is cold. It is worth a stop. The restuarant is open 5 days a week.

Awesome hotel and bar, stayed over for a few days while delivering a classic car.Really friendly and hospitable, great food and nice, new and clean rooms, all set in a historic hotel. Absolutely cannot fault it and will definitely stay again.10 out of 10

A not obvious to find" place behind a Fonterra milk processor but what a nice gem!This 116 year old hotel has just 6 rooms still with the air of being in 1916. Amenities and facilities are all modern of course.The bar and small dining area is contemporary
