I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Fig Cafe in Whitianga, and I must say, it was a standout experience. ordered a mocha and a capucchino and was blown away by the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate in both. The cafe also offered organic peanut butter and mixed nuts butter for sale, which I couldn't resist. The interior of the cafe was also breathtaking. It had a vintage style display that gave it a very cozy feel and made me feel like I was stepping back in time. Overall, The Fig Cafe in Whitianga is a must-visit for anyone in the area. Delicious drinks, friendly staff, and a charming atmosphere make it the perfect spot for anyone looking to kick back, relax, and enjoy a nice coffee with some delicious spreads.

Nice café with some different choices of cakes and savory options. Coffee is double shot standard and very nice. Regular cappuccino $5 was really good. Also ordered a small lemon cheesecake which was yummy. Creamy and fresh. Friendly lady at the counter. Indoor and outdoor tables. Well located. Recommended!

During our short stay in Whitianga I thankfully found the French Fig on day one and it became a daily ritual to return for coffee. Friendly staff deliver a delicious range of food, either from the cabinet or the kitchen. I’m partial to a date scone so their enormous offerings hit the spot (twice, as I had to consume it over two days). The lemon syrup cake is perfect to match a strong coffee. And the toasted sandwich had exactly the prerequisite amount of nice oozy cheese.

Lovely cafe with top quality tasty food and very friendly service.We visited two mornings in a row during our weekend in Whitianga and found the coffee to be delicious and consistent both times.The cafe is full of interesting and quirky little tidbits, which adds a point of difference.We had the big breakfast option, and the creamy mushrooms in particular were absolutely delicious, as was everything else on the plate.Highly recommend this cafe.

Very popular for a reason. Delightful cafe with many great tasty options. Our choice a seafood chowder which was delightful. Highly recommended, you will come back again.

We had the B.L.A.T and the French Toast, it was amazing! So unique and delicious. It was perfect on a rainy day, this cute little quirky cafe with knick knacks to buy and awesome food that fills your stomach! Cannot rave about this place enough, soooooo good. They did something special with the French toast it was just something else. Kiwi fruit is actually the best thing I've ever had on French toast and I never would've thought about it, except for this perfect French Fig

Typical french flavour. Descent and clean. Little pricy but it is okay price for tourist place. Dont recommend rocky Road. Pastry is better than cabinet.

Absolutely delicious coffee + the best french toast you'll ever have. We've been wanting to visit each time we come to Whiti but it always looks so busy, glad we finally got to try the place on Monday and YUM! Nice layout, plenty of tables and gorgeous items through the giftware. Service was top notch and food arrived quickly. Thanks team
