Cobden Garden Bed and Breakfast

What a lovely B&B in Napier. The hosts were warm and welcoming and our room was large with every amenity you could want. We were offered pre dinner drinks and canapés with our hosts which was lovely. A great choice for breakfast, so good we felt spoilt. A great place to stay whilst visiting the area.

Cobden exceeded all expectations. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed into the beautiful homestead and treated like royalty.From opening the car door on arrival and washing down the car windows on departure, everything in-between was just as charming.Phillip and Rayma were attentive hosts and made us feel super special on the day we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary.Evening drinks and chatter overlooking the restful garden was a favourite time and breakfasts - wow!The accommodation oozed with grandeur and elegance and all facilities were of best quality and spotless.It was clearly evident that Phillip and Rayma are proud of their home and take great pride in the meticulous service that they provide to their guests.At a time when we are so fortunate to be able travel around New Zealand, Cobden Garden made for us a lovely holiday resting place.

Philip and Rayma are the best hosts ever. We were treated like royals, not to mention we got a free upgrade to the king suite. Squeaky clean and super comfy. The evening cheese and wine get together was the cherry on top. You go Philip and Rayma, because you can!

This is one of the best B&B I have experienced. If you want to be very well treated, visit Rayma and Philipp!

What a treat to have had the opportunity to stay at Cobden Garden. Our host and hostess were the most welcoming couple and could not have done more to make our mini break more of a treat. The rooms were so cosy and warm and very comfortable beds, and as for the divine breakfast well, no restaurant will ever be able to match this! We really enjoyed every moment and most especially the time to chat, have a drink and partake of some wonderful canapes with our hosts. So can't wait to come back!

My stay with an absolute joy. My room was large with every feature you could want including a very comfortable bed. Bluff Hill is a great location and only 5 minutes from the town centre.Rayma & Phillip's hospitality was unbelievable, I felt very much at home and part of your family. The room and their home are beautiful then you add all your special touches. Wine and canapes nightly, drinks in the sun lounge and chocolates & port at night.Oh I forgot the breakfast, so many choices and so good just check out their website - absolute 5 star.

Awesome. If you can find any fault with this place you will never be happy. Great people, great home, great room, great advice, great extras (amazing breakfast but more impressive was the small carafe of port waiting in our room with crystal glasses upon our return after dinner out). And the chat with wine and canapes made it almost impossible to head out we were so relaxed and comfortable. Rayma and Phil did everything possible to make Napier even more enjoyable than it already was. Thanks are just not enough. You have to go !
