Hopewell Lodge
What an incredible place! We have just had the most amazing weekend with a large group. Everyone was completely blown away by the lodge. It has everything you could wish for - whether it is a perfect get-away as a romantic couple, a family break, or active relaxation. Extremely well-appointed, clean and comfortable rooms, fantastic common room and kitchen, great facilities. Not to mention very hospitable hosts. One thing for sure, we will definitely be back! I cannot thank you enough for an incredible experience and life-long memories!

Hopewell Lodge
Hopewell Lodge is just a wonderful hidden gem in the Sounds. It's easy to access by water taxi or their own boat, and is an easy, beautiful scenic cruise to the lodge. All of the amenities are fabulous, and the room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Mike and Lynley- they are the amazing and we already can't wait to go back!

What an amazing place this is - everything was perfect; location, staff, cleanliness, facilities, activities, everything - they just cannot be faulted. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute of it - when our last day came around (way too fast) we were sad to leave. Mike and Lynley the owners/hosts were just amazing, very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure we had the best stay possible, Mike baked up a storm and it was amazing! Hopewell had all kinds of people staying from very young to elderly so it is perfect for anyone who wants to escape to paradise for a time. Being animal lovers their dog Tui was a big bonus and we loved having her there to play with and cuddle. Thanks so much Mike and Lynley for your hospitality.

Stunning location, so peaceful and homely. We stayed one night and were made to feel like family. I would love to return for a longer stay soon. Lots of activities to do from the lodge or chill in a hammock and hot tub.

Our family had a great weekend stay at Hopewell. The location is a perfect spot to get away from it all. Our cottage was clean, well appointed and had wonderful views. We spent much of our time kayaking and exploring nearby beaches. We would definitely stay here again.

Hopewell Lodge
We(4 of us) stayed only one night last weekend and It was amazing!! Not just how well maintenance and clean but there is kayak, small boat, bike, paddle boat to rent. Spa with ocean view is another great point. You never gets bored. The kitchen equipments and basic seasoning was all there too. ( Probably better set up than my home haha)We will definitely be back for sure. Highly recommend!

What an absolutely lovely place. We really enjoyed the location, the hospitality of Lynley and Mike, the great pizzas and the hot tub which is open 24/7 and absolutely stunning for stargazing. There are also a few glow worms nearby. At the moment it is best to drive to Havelock and take the water taxi from there but Hopewell is happy to assist you with that. They also have a great starlink internet.

Such a wonderful stay we had with the most incredible hosts that are extremely helpful. A piece of paradise here with the feeling of a little slice of Greece. The accomodation was just perfect along with all the extras, kayaks, row boats, bikes, oysters & clams on the beach and then the pizzas and mussels for dinner. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for your amazing care from the moment we rang.

Hopewell is a special place. Mike and Lynley and their team work hard to maintain exceptionally high standards in the shared facilities, and effortlessly look after each and every guest. The quality and range of equipment is amazing, they have everything you need. We have been twice now and would come every year if we weren’t leaving NZ.
