Friendly local members club. Reasonable alcohol prices. Excellent on site restaurant. Able to be hired for functions.

What a beautiful club and staff. Arrived on club night which is a Thursday, the place was really busy. There are two carparks upper and lower. If you want quite highly recommend sitting in the restaurant for your meal. Restaurant open Thursday to Sat from 5.30pm. The food was 10 out of 10, I tried the new menu.Staff or a member can sign you in. Worth the stop.

FOOD is No.1on my list of Boutique Restaurants.Grays" Dining is situated in The Havelock ClubProvides a Quality that the BEST Chefs would appreciate.Extensive Menu choice.Food Presentation combined with flavor is realValue for money."Gray's Restaurant" outweighed my expectation of a local Club.This Restaurant with Master Chef Graeme is way above the expectation one receives through any one of these Fine Dining Restaurants in the Bay.Malo's - Havelock North.Mangapapa - Havelock North.Elephant Hill - Te Awanga."GRAY'S has it ALL!!Provides it ALL!!!For a Local Havelock North Club this Restaurant is amongst the finest!!Exceptional Food!!Give it a GO!!You'll be impressed!!"

I am a member at this embarrassing poor excuse for a club! The Terrible bar staff have know idea and need to go visit an RSL Club in Australia to see how it’s down! Service 3rd rate at best and shocking initiatives poorly orchestrated from top to bottom! obviously this is my pseudo name but there seriously needs a change of guard at this place. The Melbourne cup event last years was total fossil feast. How on earth are you meant to be able to attract new members and generate a vibrant club atmosphere in what can only be described best location in Hawke’s Bay steeped with an great historical past! The foundering members would be horrified. It smells like an old persons home and the place less lively than a funeral home! It’s all so wrong and needs to get commercially savy with maximising its asset. If I was president I would get a property developer ( Not Macksery ) develop a decent set of Retirement / Accommodation / Apartments / Function / Confrence Rooms / Sports Club Facilities by Inviting The Bowling / Rugby / Bridge / Cricket Clubs / It’s got great access and could be fantastic.
