Recycle Boutique

They say they sell your clothes for you but they have a list of brands they do not accept, and that list contains basically all most popular clothing stores you find in auckland. So in the “sell” part this is basically useless. They advertise on the radio but it’s just a clickbait. They won’t accept most of the clothes you want to sell.

Quite disheartening to see a sustainable enterprise not responding to customer enquiries. Have been trying to understand the status of a drop off from December 2022, which included unused dresses as well. I send in an email to the contact details online, they seem to have forwarded it to this store on 7th March and still no luck. If it went for donation, atleast inform the customer that.

Worst Recycle Boutique in NZ. I have great experience with Wellington Recycle Boutique, but this one is horrible! I went there three times to sell clothes, every time they took the most valuable clothes (a pair of designer brand outfit, a lululemon shirt, etc) out and took position by themselves and only sell the rest. I regret to allow them to donate to charity directly which obviously they didn’t give to charity. I’d rather give these clothes to charity by myself.What’s even funny is the last time I went there and chose to get my stuff back if they are not selected. The weird thing is I only got part of the total items back, there are three items missing, not returning to me and also not listing to sell. I have waited for another two weeks and they are still not go to active selling. I guess they are stolen again.Can’t believe how their store is operated. Be careful if you want to sell stuff here.

Terrible service. NOT recommend it to anyone who really wants to sell anything there.Went there twice but all get rejected with reasons that can't find on their website.The first time went with 6 items, someone said it's all good conditions

I feel really cheated with customer service.I bought a pair of new flats of Bally $95 and took them directly to put a sole (it cost me almost the same as the shoes) which took about ten days. I used them twice indoors for work and this is the result. As you can clearly see, it's not about the use, they were defective.They gave me no solution because the ticket expired eleven days before.It's not fair. Now I have to spend more money to fix them or throw $170 to trash.

I have been to this store for years. Service is always good & I do get back some cash for my clothes which is great :) The parking can be a mission with current Auckland Central upgrading situation. Orange cones are everywhere & yes we can still drive onto Queen St & Darby St although it looks like you can't. Driving intown can level up your patience lol.

Really good shop, great clothes.However they close 10 minutes earlier, was rushing there to grab something and didn’t expect the early closure.

Joanna was such a great help! I went in with my two toddlers and she not only got entertained them but found me THE dress… fit me like a glove. Thank you recycle boutique and thank you Joanna!
