Well laid out. Had some hard standing sites for if its too wet. Just a bit too close to the city for my liking.

This was an amazing little spot about 40 minutes outside of Auckland. There was heaps of space to pitch tent and very nice ocean views. The facilities were very clean. There were loads of nice walking areas too. Would definitely camp here again.

even during peak holiday season, camp ground look very tidy and clean , friendly people and no noise at night time , toilet very clean

Nice camp ground. There is a gate by entrance, you need to book through Auckland City Council to get the code to unlock the gate, so feel pretty safe. There is a walkway nearby as well. And cold water shower . Long drop Toilet is clean.

Good place to picnic if you live in Auckland. Nice country side drive from Botany or from Takanini.Spend whole day under the sun with good views of Waiheke and Rangitoto. Safe place for kids to let them be.

Great little spot, safe and has a great view across to Devonport, Rangitoto and the city.The park is an easy walk to Beachlands, it takes you past a football field and a shared wlakinh/bike track. Alternatively, in other direction you can walk to Maraetai and along the beach.

A pleasant regional park and campground managed by Auckland city council. Basic facilities (long drop toilets). Must be booked in advance by phone or with the local ranger. Undulating ground with some flat pitches. Coastal walkway and perimeter track. Good children's play park at campground entrance. Can be noisy in the early morning and late at night due aircraft on flight path to Auckland airport. Some facilities for the disabled.
