A beautiful venue with a lovely, calming feel. We thoroughly enjoyed having our event here, as did all of our guests! Such a peaceful, relaxing place. Loved it! The staff were brilliant too! Katrin Lilla, the Florist, is AMAZING! What a beautiful job she did with the flowers!! The house was clean, beautifully presented and everything we could have hoped for. We would definitely recommend!

From the moment we drove up the hill, we knew Waipuna would be the location of our wedding.We only looked at one venue in person (after weeks of scrolling through the possibilities - though Waipuna was the dream top running option even then) and in the words of my now husband as we were leaving following our first visit - ‘we don’t need to look anywhere else, this is the one’.The team, location, venue facilities unbeatable.Clean, tidy, coffee and tea offered to be made for us throughout! The best cooked breakfasts.Our wedding weekend went without an issue, the staff going above and beyond to help out with set up, smooth transitions throughout the wedding and even pack down post wedding!Sarah even helped with my wedding dress train (in sneaky stealth mode as not to be in photos) as we entered the ceremony.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts team; we cannot find a single negative thing to say - and neither could any of our guests!Book Waipuna for your wedding, or even just a luxurious few nights away! From the second we arrived at Waipuna we knew it was the spot for us, the most incredible venue with stunning views!But what really put Waipuna over the top was Sarah and the team. From our first meeting Sarah was there to help, sharing her knowledge and giving us advice to help plan our day. We especially appreciated you being there to answer any questions we had in the lead up to our day so quickly!Then from the second we arrived to set up the team were there to help with anything we needed. We are so grateful for everything you did in the background on our day that meant our wedding went off without a hitch and was completely stress free!Staying the night afterwards was the best thing we could have done, getting to wake up at Waipuna and enjoy an incredible breakfast and that view while we soaked up being married was amazing.It truely felt like the team were as invested in our day as we were which is incredible to find and we cannot thank you enough, Waipuna is so much more than just a venue!And our flowers - wow! Katrin managed to take a few images of ideas we liked and make something so stunning and unique. They were absolutely beautiful and we’ll be recommending using Katrin to everyone!

I had my wedding at this lovely venue in November 2022, Sarah was so lovely throughout the entire process. Katrin made me feel like an absolute princess the morning of & Fiona was the best venue manager on the day. Our guests were also blown away with the venue. Thank you so much team Waipuna!

We got married 8 weeks ago at Waipuna.We only ever looked at 1 venue in person and we knew straight away it was meant to be.We had made the difficult decision to postpone and Sarah was understanding and accommodating and never made any question or email feel like a burden.Every single guest still talks about how perfect the venue was.Sarah and the team made our dream day even more perfect than we could have ever imagined.If we could do it over again we would choose Waipuna Estate everytime.Thank you so so much.Love from The Owen’s x

I operate a cake shop that delivers wedding cakes and desserts to Waipuna and we love delivering here! The staff are all so wonderful, our customers only have things to say about them. My personal favourite part is when we deliver we get to see the spectacular views! An amazing team doing an outstanding job

Everything about Waipuna is incredible! Our wedding here was made even more special because of the staff, facilities, and location! The staff are friendly, professional and approachable, and nothing’s too hard to organise! Sarah, Fiona, and the rest of the team are a complete asset and add value with everything they do! The location is easy enough to get to, while feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere. And what an amazing outlook over the Canterbury plains! The facilities are top notch and were the perfect setting for our wedding! We can’t thank you enough for making our day as special as it deserved to be!
