We stayed here on Saturday and Sunday night and had an awesome time with our two dogs. Loved the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The custodians were great and visited several times a day. The facilities were clean and tidy. Well done!

Spent Friday night at camping ground. Other campers were friendly and very welcoming they all make you feel like part of an enjoyable gathering. Facilities were absolutely spotless and well set up. Would recommend to freinds and family. Definetly be back here to stay. Keep up the amazing work owners.

I stayed here at the end of November 2022 while on a longitudinal bicycle ride of the North Island from Cape Reinga to Wellington. This is a gem of a place! It has everything you could want, including helpful and friendly managers.Hopefully it won't get too popular and crowds of people come and spoil it.

Unruly kids from the other side of the (powered sites )camp ground came over to the (unpowered sites)wanting to light a pit fire in amongst other campers. When asked if they would refrain as the wind would blow the smoke everywhere, we were verbally abused and intimidated in such a way that we left as we didn’t feel that our vehicle would be safe throughout the night.I did ring the campground owner and complained and we did receive a refund so I thank the campground owners for that.Your choice really if you stay there or not

Second time I've stayed in the cosy cabins at this camping ground. Beautiful surroundings, swimming spot nearby, clifftop walk into town is mostly flat and very pretty. Very good value at $20 for one, $35 for two people. Wee fridge, kettle, heater, beds made up with sheets and duvet. Clean bathrooms and kitchen. Big veranda with comfy old couches, table and chairs to sit and read and soak up the sun. I'll be back.
