The Magnetic Observatory
Did you know that the magnetic south pole moves 11-15km a year?! Maybe I should have, but I didn’t until going here today. Read all about this and other facts in this small but interesting observatory. I’m not sure it’s worth a trip on its own (unless you’re particularly interested in the subject), but it’s absolutely worth checking out when you’re in the Botanic Gardens anyway.
