PSA: predatory landlord.Bond did not get lodged with Tenancy Services (which is unlawful).We were charged a professional cleaning fee up front in order to secure a tenancy (which is unenforceable - tenants are not required to pay for professional cleaning as long as the property is left reasonably clean & tidy).We were billed for several bogus claims after the tenancy ended, amounting to potentially several thousand dollars.We only got our bond and cleaning fee back after challenging their claims and being prepared to take them to the tenancy tribunal.
