Golden Blade Barber Lounge
Only have to look at other reviews for proof that these guys provide the best cuts. I’ve been going in here for a couple of years now and is always a good cut.More importantly than that though they are just damn good humans. They went over and above for me when I unfortunately needed to be quickly taken out for a medical issue. Everything is always easy with them and they will always make it work . Cheers guys.

I had my first experience at the Golden Blade Barber Lounge today. Simply put, I couldn’t be more happy with it. Kruiz has skills, is super chill, accommodating, and just good vibes all around. I had my head shaved with the most elegant of golden blades and had an epic beard trim and shape to go along with it. I booked my next visit before leaving, and will be back many more times.Side note: Kruiz hooked it up with, legitimately, the best beard oil I’ve ever come across. It’s been discontinued but god damn…. Well done gentlemen, and thank you.

Shoutout to Taylor. He’s an “intermediate” barber who gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. He spoke to me like a best mate and was clear and concise throughout the service. He gave me precisely what I came in for.The place was professional, clean, and tidy. My booking was slotted in comfortably on the same day and didnt take up too little or too much of my time.Highly recommended, and thank you, Taylor, I will be back.

Golden Blade Barber Lounge
If you're near Christchurch's City Center, this is the place to go when you want a razor shave - or any other barber services! This spot has total pros running the place. You know it's legit when you have a steady stream of customers going in and out between 10 and 11 on a Thursday! The whole experience was top notch - very glad I was able to stop in before going back to the States, and will definitely be back when visiting again.

Went here for the first time and asked for my usual cut a mid zero fade with a 4 on top. The clippers were blunt it actually cut me, I had 2 visible line. Definitely not going back nor would I recommend it to anyone else, the crew were nice and welcoming tho...

In the past I did not care how my hair is cut. I was happy for my wife to cut them with some blunt kitchen scissors. She has hounded me for yonks to try this place out. Well good golly miss Molly the guy here is a master. A perfectionist and master of his craft. Turns a sows ear to a silk purse. Now the good wife insists I go there always....and lord willing I will. As good as it ever was. The guys are masters at thier trade.

Only went the once, probably not the first place I'd go for a shave/beard tidy unless I had someone different, so can't really condemn it. Parking is time limited. Otherwise, nice place and the spirit bottles converted into spray bottles is a cool touch
