Galaxy Boutique Hotel Lake Tekapo

Room has a beautiful lake view and skylight through which I saw so many stars! it was super clean and comfortable. Facilities are quite new and I like the modern mirror with light. Breakfast was included in the price and they provided breakfast service to the room, with the beautiful lake view! Staff was so nice and friendly! The manager Eric gave us useful tips and suggested good restaurants. He offered flexible check-in and check-out time. He even gave us a lift to the stargazing tour and sent our luggages to the intercity bus stop after we checked out because we did not have a car! The whole experience there was really amazing. Great hotel with breathtaking view.We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment.Good sized bedrooms with good bedding.Large & clean bathroom.Good cooked to order breakfast.It would have been fully self-contained if there had been laundry facilities.Helpful & friendly staff.Highly recommended hotel in the Lake Tekapo area

A very lovely hotel with humble and friendly staff. Absolutely stunning views, very clean and everywhere smells amazing (literally)! Small hotel with c. 15 rooms. Would recommend for friends and family staying in or near lake tekapo.

We stayed at the Galaxy Boutique Hotel for 4 nights. Everything was fantastic! The room was beautiful, spacious, and had an excellent view. The breakfast was terrific. Moreover, every staff member was helpful, kind and very sincere about helping in any way possible. LOVE this hotel! Thank you!

Best hotel I believe we have ever stayed in! We were greeted promptly by the staff, shown our room and amenities AND given a list of cooked breakfast items we could choose to have in the lobby the next morning or delivered to our room at no extra charge. The big soaker tub and the skylight above our bed to watch the stars were just a few of the awesome features. Add the stunning lake and mountain view....how could anyone ask for more!

Beautiful hotel, lovely modern room and bathroom, and a fabulous view of the lake! Amazing service, too - all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating :) Breakfast buffet was a little limited but still delicious and super filling! We appreciated the extra snacks at the buffet too. Fantastic stay overall, especially if you enjoy staying in and relaxing at the hotel.

I have given this place a 5 star. The view was awesome and spent hours looking out to the lake and hills, the skylight was another bonus when we had a clear night. The Bathroom and room looked new and very tidy.

Great views and just an amazing welcome on reception. Brilliant breakfast if you buy this option.Great so comfy bed and great view onto taupo.The only let down was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Dirty and unclean is a light description.Over priced for accommodation but you need to remember you are in a prime NZ tourist location.

Not worth the cost, stay at Peppers. This is not a hotel by definition just an over priced motel. Upon arrival, there is a bell that says ring for champagne......now it might be a cute joke but for $400 a night at a boutique hotel" don't advertise what you aren't going to deliver on. The sign for the hotel is also half missing.We were asked at the same time of check-in to pick our breakfast for the next morning from the menu

Check in was surposed to be at 2pm because no clean laundry had been delivered check in got blown out to 4pm. Quite frankly the boss was NOT impressed. We recieved a cold can of coke and a can of lemonade as a form of appoligy. Quite alot of cokes and lemonades were handed out to different groups of people that day. On getting into the room it was OK, I would say small but ok. I wouldn't say it was spotlessley clean but it was clean enough. The room was very hot and very stuffy with little tiny windows that couldn't open more than a crack. It was hot day at 28° the room would have been equally as hot if not more and took several hours to cool down. 5hrs later the bedrooms were sufficiently cool enough to sleep comfortably. Bed are comfortable as are furnishings. Views are WOW. The whole area is very nice.
