The Olympic Pools & Fitness Centre

Decent enough. The changing rooms are decent sized and have everything you need. The gym has all the equipment but limited free space (difficult to stretch), however there's always a machine available. The body weight area (TRX bands, kettle bells, etc) seems to be in an area restricted for personal trainers. But if you want to use cardio and weight machines then it's perfect, except for the heat, which can't really be avoided due to proximity to the pool.

Lovely staff and great location.Sauna is epic and perfect for those that can appreciate a great wood sauna. Staff was spritzing eucalyptus scent inside too.Spa could have been a bit hotter but fits a good amount of people. Not super deep. Easy to walk in and out. Limited spa Jets. Kids/shallow pool was just behind it so it was a bit noisy. Great sunroof over the top so you get natural light!Pool is Olympic size and has a deep end enough to dive into! One fast lane, a few medium, slows and a recreational zone.Bathroom (ladies) - hot and cold showers as long as you want. Plenty of hair dryers. Mats were old and stained a bit. Some hair.Looks like everything could do with a deep clean and revive but it’s a great price and would go again but bring shower shoes.

nice gym, amazing pool and has sauna facilities. not too packed in peak hour but gym wreaks of body odour (i've been to 20+ gyms and this is the worst) only went once though. there is a steam room and a dry sauna and the steam room is crazy hot but smells of vicks vaporub it made my eyes water

These pools are absolutely fantastic. It's large and great for all ages. Also the steam room and sauna are really really great hot temperature's. Even the steam room here has a cold shower inside it which is cool. The staff here are very nice and greet you well. I would recommend and I definitely will go back here.

People who say this pool is clean and well maintained clearly haven't been to other pools around Auckland.I've been going to this place since 2007, it has been left neglected (due to lack of finance or whatever other reasons) throughout the years, it needs some love.

If you are looking for a sauna Olympic Pools don't have one, just a warm wet room.Been coming here for the last year and in the past 6 months the sauna has degraded tremendously. Last night the sauna was 60 Degrees Celsius. Which has become the norm and is just a joke at this stage. E-mailed twice enquiring if they were planning to fix and ignored both times.Disappointed it got to the point where I just give up.

Great warm pool but inconsistent pricing for a adult with a 3 years old. Once I was told that we are free to access the pool. Today I was charged full adult price with free preschooler. It would be good to have details about preschooler & parent supervision on their website.

I usually appreciate the amenities offered at this local pool, but unfortunately, I've had a persistently frustrating experience with the sauna over the past six months. The sauna's temperatures have consistently ranged from 64-72 degrees Celsius, a significant drop from the average 80 degrees Celsius we enjoyed in 2022.The pool's website states that the sauna should range between 75-85 degrees Celsius, and a sign on the sauna door also promises a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience for some time now.In January 2023, when I first raised this issue with the staff, they acknowledged the problem and assured me it was being addressed. Fast forward to now, the situation has not improved. In fact, the sauna temperature dropped to a disappointing 59 degrees Celsius on one occasion.The staff now attribute the lower temperatures to too many people entering and exiting the sauna

Gym is decent enough to get a good workout in, has all the essentials. Sauna is excellent as well. Great membership pricing for the convenience. Also staff are super friendly !
