Whānau atmosphere and friendly hospitality have stayed 2, separate nights here and will likely stay more nights in the future...best shower in the district... Yummy food... Great innkeepers recently beset by tragedy with thier son but he seems to be making a great recovery... I can't give 6 stars as I would like to....

Surprisingly good as the next door cafe was over crowded and over priced so we went to the pub. Nice lunch. Friendly service. Good food

Purchased a takeaway fish dinner tonight. Lovely meal and friendly staff. Nice dining room and good outdoor dining as well. Will be returning and would recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing. Fresh fish, beautifully cooked chips and side salad. The owner was a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome.

Just like to thank the lovely lady behind the bar, my truck broke down in Eketahuna 2 hours prior to my guts deciding to grumble. I walked in and asked if I could get a feed, was told the kitchen was closed, I was ok with that, made mention my truck has broken down and without any hesitation she offered to make me a feed of fish and chips. Amazing small town New Zealand hospitality. And the fish and chips were the best I've had in a long time. Thanks again made my night as I wasn't back up and running again for another 4 hours.
