I take my baby for her 3-6month free tadpole classes here and it is such an awesome experience for both of us. Her teacher is great and she seems to be having fun and gaining valuable skills. These funded lessons are just awesome! I recommend anyone expecting a baby to sign up as soon as they are born as the waitlist is understandably very long.

Every one is so nice. My 4 year old loves coming here. 2 months ago when we started he couldn't swim and would hate getting his face wet. He can now swim without support and loves dunking his face under the water. And at no point was he pushed to do anything he didn't want to. All the instructors are always friendly and patient and only going as far as he was willing to go.

How busy Hilton Brown swimming is says it all . For years I have watched my grandkids become great swimmers there .And the staff are very friendly and professional too.

We did not have a good experience dealing with Hilton Brown's cancellation policy during the COVID pandemic.Because of Hilton's Brown cancellation policy, we stopped the regular swimming classes for our 12 month old son when Auckland was approaching the peak of the Omicron Pandemic. We had one voucher for a make up lesson, but couldn't find any available classes for the lesson before the expiry. We requested an extension. Hilton Brown said they were unable to extend the make-up voucher if we were no longer enrolled in the regular classes !!! Seems to us like a silly policy especially when Hilton Brown did not have the classes available for us to use the voucher! Very inflexible policies in the circumstances.

Was meant to post this earlier in the year. The lessons were run well and a niece of mine enjoyed them but my toddler was just not having any of it. So I told someone at the front desk that we were not going to come back and if there was anything we needed to do. They said no it's all good. I got charged another Direct Debit a little after that so I called up and asked for a refund and to properly cancel. They said I needed to cancel before the direct debit would stop and that they would need to look into it and talk to a manager and get back to me. I called up a little while later and got a similar response. Still have not heard from them... I believe I should have been more clear about cancelling with the person at the desk initially and have no problem with the Direct Debit, but they obviously don't want to give us our money back.

Fantastic teachers, especially Ingrid who takes the baby classes. Make up classes are great for illness and holidays. Highly recommend swimming as an activity for your LO

Great experience taking my toddler twins here. Great staff who accommodate all cultures and ethnicities. I like that their staff range in all ages. Great activities and songs to help the babies learn certain situations.

My daughter is in the tadpole class. Class is organised and fun, but losing a star as facilities are cramped.Pros: chlorine and salt combo, well structured class, great staff, and pool area is warm - great for dressing my baby after.Cons: atrium floor a bit slippery, multiple classes going at once in different corners of the pool, the viewing/dressing areas are cramped so you have to let people go by carefully while carrying/feeding/dressing your baby, and only one shower in the female swimming change rooms.
