Pretty good selection of prepackaged cuts. When I asked for some different cuts they didn't have out the front, they were friendly and quick to cut them fresh (thicker steaks; a fresh butterflied lamb leg). They also do a milk bottle swap, which is a nice touch to reduce plastic waste.

oh what has happened to decent sausages ? I bought Black Rock Pork Sausages @ $2 a sausage and although the inner wasn't too bad, not sure they were worth $2 each tho...the skins was like plastic ! Couldn't eat them, they just balled up in my mouth. Part of enjoying sausages is devouring the skin. Very disappointing...

Great selection of quality meats at sensible prices. The staff are happy to source specific orders. I really enjoy having a quality butchery in Upper Hutt that's open all weekend till 6pm. Now that we're hitting BBQ season it's nice being able to pick up quality cuts at short notice.

Best butcher, they are so helpful. They have award winning, artisan, free range and free farmed meats, and close to my heart a great selection of Gluten Free sausages If you need a certain cut of meat or even boneless chicken thighs with skin on they will do it for you. They also have some deli foods there as well. Very friendly staff a nice place to shop

If you are after fresh, flavorsome meat this is the place to go. The range of proper sausages that are full of flavor and the staff there are more than helpful when it comes to newbee smokers like my self. 10/10 all round now exception.....

Just finished the best piece of silverside I have had for many years. All meat and no fat and not salty. Have had one main meal and 3 lunches from the one piece. Such tasty sandwiches! Will definitely buy again

What a fantastic butcher/deli! Such friendly and helpful staff.Came here for dog bones, but returned for some chicken, which was delicious and generous portions. Plus a fresh loaf of ciabatta, equally delicious. This is my new favorite shop, I will be coming back! Thankyou :)

Great new butcher in Upper Hutt. Close to the Maidstone Countdown meaning an easy detour for far better quality meat, and excellent specialist products from Fix and Fogg and Zany Zeus.Super friendly staff set up in a chic and welcoming butchery. Go here and buy local!
