As a northern chinese,there are not many places for buns in auckland.this has a special place for us,open early for breakfast and stay for dinner.taste like mums home made,each fold and knot on a bun can tell thats hand made. However,they really should spent some money on eatin environment,and keep flies away in summer time.i give this rank not because i dislike it but wish they could read and realise this is a problem for business.

We come here for Chinese style breakfast at 8am this morning. We really like certain menu items - soy milk, Dan bing with you tiao, all the buns (though the filling is not that generous), dou hua (tofu jelly) with gravy, chive and egg pancake (but this doesn't always taste fresh).However, this place has a lot of negatives. The dining area and furniture is sticky and unclean, tissues on tables and plates / bowls for sharing are not provided (just end up eating over the sauce dish), tea is not provided (or on the menu as far as we could see) and water dispenser is often empty.Maybe I'm asking too much, but other restaurants around this one would consider providing the amenities above as standard. Many of the breakfast dishes are also not particularly fresh tasting (you tiao is not freshly fried and many pancakes seem to be microwaved).Can anyone recommend a better place for Chinese breakfast food??

Authentic Chinese breakfast food. Great value and very delicious. The buns taste amazing and I can't believe how cheap it was.

Great authentic Chinese food, including some great street food. We had breakfast and I felt like I was home again. Helpful and kind staff, though a little bare in terms of atmosphere

Cheap but still very profitable. Those buns cost $1 each. Service as expected: you pay for the service. Overall it is a northern Chinese popular cuisine. Don’t expect fancy food, just a quick bite and get in the way
