Chicken kottu and srilankan special fried rice was great, we will be back soon to try chicken, fish and crab curries. Prices so reasonable, everything literally $10-12. Staff was so lovely, actually spent time with us to find d out what we would like and recommended us not to order more. Service on time and quantities we're massive, we could barely finish one had to take away 2nd dish.

I didn't really try many items here but I ordered paratho on call and it was not ready when arrived at the shop. And it took more than 15 min to prepare my order. The food is really fresh and very warm but not tasted as Sri Lankan parotta.

Arguably this place is better than 7Siri (Sandringham) and maybe on par with Ambula (Panmure), both of which are also excellent Sri Lankan restaurants.My partner and I love this place. 3 mains and 2 drinks for $40. Amazing flavours, authentic food and friendly service. I'm not a huge fan of their curries but I believe their Kotu Roti is the best in Auckland.Worth the time to drive to Mount Roskill for any dedicated foodie.

Under the same management they run two restaurant, the other one in Papatoetoe. It is I side another business. So when u follow the directions on GPS, u will probably get confused. Sri Lankan takeaway and dine in. If u are after rice and curry options) buffet, then it is weekends. Else usually fried rice etc are there.

I really love the taste of the food, I enjoy the buffet menu and i can't ask more. The staff were friendly, atmosphere of the restaurant is really calm and pleasant. One of the best choices from the menu is fried Prawan meal, very rich flavor and nice spicy level.. Thank you Roti hut and team. MARK - FROM ECO AIR & SEA CARGO

Great sri lankan place and the staff is friendly. I went for the buffet, and chicken, prawns and kuttu had genuine taste.

Highly recommend the kottu roti and fried rice. We tried their buffet on the weekend which was amazing value for money. The owner is very friendly and provides great service. I for one will be a regular for sure!

If you’re a big fan of parotta & kothu parotta from Tamilnadu (like me), this is the place in Auckland:)Never disappointed me and great if you can dine in for hot and soft parotta.

Came to try Sri Lankan favourite Fried Rice and wow.. one rice can share with two people. Local Elephant House drinks..Go and have a try..
