Western After Hours Emergency Vet Clinic

Took my dog in as he was unwell, Doctor Trevor Hing was extremely unprofessional, yelled at us and seemed frustrated. Gave my dog a injection before consulting with us, he yelled at my mother multiple times. Such a terrible night I cannot believe any vet would treat their clients this terribly!

Never take your animal here! This place is filthy and unhygienic. The hospital cages room door was left wide open with distressed animals exposed to noise, people and pets constantly coming and going. Trevor Hing told us that the lump that had come up on our dog overnight was a growth that needed surgery which he wanted to perform immediately @$1800. No tests, no questions, no confirmed diagnosis, just hand over your money and your dog and forget about the filth and certain infection that would be sure to follow surgery there. Hence we did not leave our dog there! We insisted on antibiotics as we felt the issue was an infection we had seen him with once before and which was confirmed at our own vet with a simple and instant syringe test on Monday. Had we not insisted on antibiotics our dog's health and life would have been at risk by Monday morning. This place should not be allowed to practice. Avoid it at all costs.

Really good experience here!!! All the staff are super nice and really looked after my furr baby. Vet was awesome and took the time to explain everything and didn't even make my dog wear a muzzle. It was very refreshing because a lot of vets do just because he's a Pitbull and it really stresses him out.

I had to take my dog there last night. She had eaten raisins.... they saw us strait away and treated my dog. The staff here are great. Thank you so much for seeing us so urgently. My dog seems fine today back to her usual self. Really appreciate the fast work of this clinic.

Trevor has been AMAZING to my little dog Charlie and myself!!Never met a vet that is so compassionate and kind and really cares about the animals.He went above and beyond for my dog Charlie who was not in a good way at all.I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done.Leila

I took my new puppy to the after hours emergency vets as she had chewed and eaten a small ball. I was greeted warmly by the lovely receptionist whom I had spoken to on the phone first and was reassured straight away. The vet, I think her name was Gillian, was very caring and immediately put my mind at ease. Excellent service. Vets obviously care for their animal clients. Thank you so much!

Such kind and caring staff. Was able see our cat straight away and get him the help he needed as well as providing us with all the information we needed to know to get him on the mend. Thank you so much

On June 17, 2023, I visited this facility with my severely ill dog, Buster, at the SPCA's advice. Trevor Hing, a very agitated vet, met me. As soon as I walked into the room, Trevor gave me the impression that they wanted me to go. Trevor argued, gave a hazy diagnosis, and was unlikely to provide any additional information unless it included money. Trevor actually hurried me along because they had other patients to attend and I had only been there for ten minutes.After getting a second opinion, my dog is now in canine heaven.Although it's obvious that Trevor struggles under pressure, no one - and definitely not in this situation - should feel like they're a bother.Never again will I visit this facility.

Never ever in my entire life have I been treated this terribly by a vet, came in the other night to take my dog who was very ill. The vet I believe was Mr Hing. He was extremely rude and frustrated with our Dog who was too scared to enter his room, no professionalism he gave our dog a jab without even telling us what it was or what illness our dog had. He continually yelled out instructions to keep our dog from wiggling around while getting his shot and then he yelled out THATS HOW YOU CONTROL YOUR DOG" after giving the jab to our dog he said get outside take your dog to the car. This man should not be working with any pets

ATTENTION ALL DOG LOVERS!!! I do not recommend this place. Tonight we went in because my pup Rover wasn’t feeling to well and wasn’t being his normal self, we could definitely tell something was wrong so he was a bit unsettled. As soon as we got to the clinic Dr. Heng was so rude for no reason, he didn’t once try touch our dog(Rover), for some unknown reason Dr. Heng was raising his voice telling us to hold him down but my pup was just trying to sniff him. The Dr got quite agitated and was being so rude. He wanted to take blood test but asked us to put Rover in the car. We then called him to get a better understanding to what happened? And he was just raising his voice to us over the phone. I’ve notice the 1 star reviews are all towards how rude Dr. Heng is? I don’t understand why he’s still working there?! The lady at the reception was nice but as soon as we walked into Dr. Hengs room he was rude. I’m pretty sure he’s a racist because. Idk but do better please.
