Owharoa Falls | Owharoa Falls is a series of three waterfalls located in a couple of kilometres drive from popular Karangahake Gorge. Only the first and third waterfalls are well accessible while the top of the second one may be seen from the road.

A lovely little waterfall (that was not so little 3 days earlier with gorge closed with flooding). A very short easy walk, and in quieter times a nice place for a swim.

Beautiful,little waterfall with really easy access from car park,100% worth to visit. In my opinion most beautiful waterfall what I have seen here in NZ so far

Only a 2 minutes walk to a beautiful waterfall, perfect place to stop while driving! The walk is down/up hill and can be slippery if it has been raining so be careful

The falls were worth 5 stars today, especially after all the rain weve had. They are only a 30 seconds from the main road through the gorge. The ride from Paeroa through to Waihi is a great scenic ride apart from all the goldfield stuff, which is worth vising also.

Several visits to this waterfall and I am always blown away by its beauty. The late storm made it even more dramatically gorgeous. Short walk down to reach it it's pretty close to the road. Perfect spot for meditation, picnic (unless it's heavy rain),...!Worth a quick or longer stop

Stunning waterfall & even more beautiful for swimming. Very cold and fresh but totally worth it on a hot day. Busy little spot but more than enough room for everyone.

Beautiful falls and easy walk from the parking spot.We stopped by here from Auckland on the way to Tauranga during the King's Birthday break. It's a beautiful place and easy to access for family with kids. It has some steps along the way so it might be tricky for wheelchairs and pram/stroller.
