I’ve been in sales for over twenty years, my sales person listened to my needs, I mentioned that I wanted a good quality ebike but didn’t want to spend a fortune as I would not be going off road cause of a bad knee. Rather than try to up sell me, he provided a good range of options. He gave excellent advice and actually advised me on the model I ended up buying. I then went on to purchase a heap of extra’s that I needed. Well done, oh and I love the bike. Cheers Martin

I have found the customer service at Evo Cycles excellent. The salesperson I dealt with was extremely knowledgeable and I felt like I was being sold the best product, not the most expensive.

I just bought a Giant Talon E+1 bike from Evo, East Tamaki. I really liked the way they quickly got hold of the bike I wanted so I could try it, the location that allowed a safe trial without any concerns about traffic, their knowledge of the product and the quick way they sorted an unforeseen issue with the bike the next day. Great service, great knowledge and good pricing.

If you want people keen to help, who speak plain English, and none of the snobbery of some other Auckland outlets these guys are tops. Apart from helping with my various bikes, they've turned out to be really useful as I rebuild a couple of 90s project bikes. Highly recommended

This is a good place to go to test ride a bike with a large fairly empty car park and drive way nearby. They are good with allowing you to go for a good test ride.Other stores have nowhere to test ride or a busy road or footpath and some not very trusting, having to hands over licence or keys when parked right outside with car in view.You can order a bike, and just pay a refundable 10% to try it, very good.So this store was very helpful so I decided to buy here in support.Unfortunately the range isn't that great with no Giant talons and trek marlin 5 was the only bike worth riding. A Kona also good to ride to know I don't want a Kona which was garbage. Low stock seems a bit the case in a lot of bike stores though.Sales service was good.On receiving my $1000 bike i was disappointed with gear noise in low and hesitation on high and response from salesperson was it was normal and when questioned further I was advised to book it for a service. Probably at my cost once they say it's normal again. So now I've got to figure out myself how to tune it and now have it running a lot better thanks to youtube and no thanks to Evo.Also the accessories stock in store is average and they didn't seem that interested in customizing the bike with a stand, lights, higher chainring even when bought from Evo. The items werent in stock anyway so anything I had to buy online which is then drop shipped to a supplier and takes forever I ended up doing that myself also. Maybe that's just normal since I've not bought a bike in a long time...My bike also wasn't to spec but that appears to be common ie tektro instead of Shimano brakes.I'd probably buy from here again, especially if they have want I want to test in store. Torpedo 7 seems to have more accessories in stock at a better price so they will also be on the radar.

Never e-biked before. Visited Botany Evo cycles for some input. Dealt with Tristan, and couldnt be happier. Great service, really helpful, knowledgeable and personable. Nothing was too much bother. Give this man a pay rise!
