Really lovely, kind and accommodating staff - felt very welcome to ask questions - nothing was too much effort for them in creating a great experience for us. Also they have an amazing breakfast buffet.We came for 3 meals and would love to thanks you all for your fabulous service.

Breakfast this morning and dinner this evening. The food is outstanding. Service is very friendly. We were not staying at the hotel, but they found a space for us in the bar despite every table in the restaurant being occupied when we arrived. The melanzane was amazing, not traditional, but a unique twist!

Ordered in-room dining from Hiku and was blown away by the food!! Every dish was incredible and wish we could come back for another meal!

Great fresh seafood. Try the oysters and the crayfish!Good selection of wines and spirits as well.

The location is magnificent ofcourse, but the highlight for me was the service.The wait staff were friendly, respectful, and quick like nothing I've seen before.Ruby in particular, was absolutely brilliant.I'd very happily come back.

Would recommend - great service and food. Booked a night at the Sudima on a last minute trip to Kaikoura and arrived late afternoon without booking anywhere for dinner. Hiku was fully booked (like most other places) but took my number in case a table came up. Much to my surprise they offered us a table not long after and the food came quickly, was reasonably priced and everything we ordered was delicious.

Excellent food, very tasty combinations, extensive wine list, awesome service with attention to detail and the typical NZ friendliness. We enjoyed our lovely dinner and had a great evening! Our kids had a great time as well, enjoying their food - they even thought of how to entertain our kids….excellent 5 stars

We had a lovely experience here. The staff was super friendly and patient while we chose our food and drinks. (I’m very indecisive!)We split a few dishes including the calamari and the fried chicken to start, then the pasta and the broccolini.Would recommend if you’re in the area!

We absolutely loved breakfast here. You can make your own fresh juice, all food is fresh and made in the kitchen (even baked beans were made there). We didn't stay at the hotel but could tell they try hard to keep things clean and guests looked after very well. The bonus was they open at 6am, which we really loved.
