Loved it out here!!Clean toilets. The only thing is you have to make sure you bring your own water as the water there is not potable but you can go to Leeston and refill up at the fire station or download the app refill N.Z and use the locations available for drinking water. Also no showers but the freshwater creek is awesome lol ....suitable for kids as water is shallow. Definately go back there again.

Stayed 3nights . Acres of parking . Coes Ford Recreation is spread over 3 areas . Lovely clean toilets on each site, and rubbish skips. With a clean, safe swimming stream running along side the boundaries

What a fantastic setting to park up a caravan or motorhome for a few nights. Awesome swimming and being able to stay for up to 28 days at a time is a huge bonus.

Worst camping ever. Only mud in the green area, dangerous for big vehicles

Such a great place, highly recommend. The facilities were so clean, so much fun for the family also the space is big enough for peace and quiet if you need alone time.

Good news is the toxic algae level is now low so it is safe for your dog's.Massive area, 3 sections, lots of facilities..A strung off area in centre of no2 is very odd on reserve land. Labeled private property..Looks like council may need to tidy bylaws up a bit.Below is a photo with list of all Selwyn County camps etcThey all have great facilities
