Since my last visit, its standard has dropped. The fish wasn't as fresh as expected and I've had much better one's. However, the batter is light and crispy. Unless I am passing that way, I won't go all out of way to have a meal there.

A wonderful place to stop for a feed. Food was top notch. Kumura fries fantastic. Gurnard and Terakihi fish fillets well worth the $. So freah and tasty.

Been away 10 years and the place is still the same! Food is good, service is friendly. The queues haven’t changed either lols. Maybe invest in an LED ticker display to show the order numbers. Hilarious to still see people yelling numbers out the door.I had the Seafood Basket. It was worth the wait. I should’ve bought extra sauce though. Not really a salad person, but the crunchy salad that was included was very tasty. Great way to top off a day at the beach.

We got fish and chips and it was oh so fresh, and the nicest fish and chips i have ever eaten in my entire life, if I am in the area again I will not go past without buying more.

Have never been there before but it was worth the trip. Great fishnchips. Quite busy when we were there but food didnt take too long.

Love this place! It's a favourite in the family and we drive out from pukekawa to go every sunny Friday. If they would make an outdoor seating area out the back on the grass then I would give them a solid 10/10. Right now you kind of sit in the car park to eat outside but the quality of food is worth it! And you can always get takeaway and sit on the reserve on the other side of the road.
