It is what you would expect from a large supermarket. Plenty of parking that is well used showing how popular it is. Customer toilet available. They could improve on variety/choices and at times their price labeling is a challenge to align with the correct product. Good selection of fresh produce. I.e. veges meat and fish. Continuity of supply of some products obviously affected by outside influences at times.

People stock up foods before the Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle, leading some empty shelf. Overall you can still find most of the items you need or some replacements.

Great supermarket with competitive prices in comparison to Countdown or New World. My only criticism is that it’s often a bit overcrowded, and various items do tend to run out of stock from time to time. It’d be great to see them adopt self service kiosks. Bigger and Better than it's Mt. Albert Branch.Classier, though less cashiers.Friendly, Helpful and caring Staff.Clean and hygienic!Wonderful Muzak to sing/hum along to as you shop.Bargains Galore. Has been recently revamped! Orderly.Brilliant Delicatessen with enormous discounted prices.Outstanding cheese selection.9.9 out of 10, because we can't all be perfect!Large number of disabled parking spaces.Highly recommended in Royal Oak Mall.

Edit: Total wait time was 45min in the queue. Only when I had phoned the store (while in the store) and spoke to the duty manager they opened two more counters.Suggestion is to keep an eye on the number of counters that are open as you enter if you don’t want to fall in the same trap as I did.15min in the queue and still no sign of opening another checkout counter. Only two standard checkout counters open at 6.30pm Saturday… real jokes - pak’nWAIT. No floor staff either.

Shopped for first time today. Very helpful staff . Checkout operator Judith so cheerful. She could teach a few of the staff how to smile and trwat customers. Best operator I've met in all my NZ travels.

Affordable groceries in general. What I like about this location is that it is beside the Royal Oak Mall so that any items I missed I can go and get in the mall where there are fresh fruits and vege shops, chemists, bakeshops, and Asian shops.
