Best kept secret in the South Waikato! I'm a big fan of Indian and have to say having been a regular visitor to India and Pakistan if you come here you will enjoy some real authenticity- the lamb is super tender. A+ - thank you

Drove through the little town of Putāruru on the way to Rotorua.Slightly run down place, but the whole town feels like a ghost town.This was the only food place out of 5 showing in google that took out Australian cards.The food was delicious and the team very pleasant. I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting to sponsor little country businesses.

We have come to expect fabulous service from the owner, Milan, who used to work at a restaurant elsewhere. We came to have lunch at Great Tastes of India specially to see him. We were not surprised that he remembered exactly which dishes we usually order as well as our drinks order. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. All in all, a fabulous experience which we will definitely repeat. I can't recommend Great Tastes of India highly enough. Do visit!

Found this gem on our drive to Rotorua, and was quite happy.with our choice. I was skeptical about the butter chicken as I've had tastes like tomato soup, but not this version. Out table also had lamb Rogan gosh, and mutter paneer , and naan bread. Great service great food!

I’m a very regular customer and this place never fails to impress, food and service is perfect in every way possible. Man who served us is very nice and makes the best curry I’ve ever tried!!! Highly recommended to all.
