Greasy floor and tables...large rat trap you can see when ordering at the counter...ordered the smash burger combo which included burger, 4 chicken wings, fries, and drink for $26... Burger was tiny and beef pattie seemed like one of those heated up frozen type. chicken wings tasted weird/off and turned out weren't cooked through..bloody juices/clear meat ..to their credit they refunded $6 for the wings with no hesitation.. obviously the business has been purchased by people inexperienced in hospitality and after checking reviews afterwards looks like unless they drastically change something like employ experienced/qualified personnel it'll only be a matter of time before they don't have enough customers to continue operating which would be a shame for both them (nice people despite no clue what they're doing) and the franchise.

Insanely overpriced for the quality of food and portion sizes. I got loaded chicken fries, the cheese sauce was definitely not cheese sauce. No idea what it is. Husband got 4 pack chicken and they said it would be standard fried chicken thighs. He got 4 bite sized nibbles that were overcooked and dry. When we questioned them about it they weren't the least bit interested in what we had to say and brushed us off. Bad service and bad food, don't waste your money.

Ribs were inedible and $26. Honesty the toughest ribs I've had. My daughter had the smores sundae, no gram crackers or marshmallow fluff but 4 of the stalest marshmallows that could easily pass as rocks. Save your money. Worst meal we have had in Rotorua

wait time took 45 mins. we got in there and all the tables were covered with rubbish. multiple people in front of us had their orders taken wrong. There were only two guys working and they were in no rush at all and didn’t even care that they were taking ages. Also handled cash with the same gloves they were making the food with. Wouldn’t recommend.

Clean place, was quiet at the time we visited, first time I have not finished a burger, smashburger isn't a traditional smashed burger, patties similar to another other burger in thickness, patties were over seasoned with salt n pepper hence I didnt bother finishing it(was nasty) loaded fries are yummy and worth the visit

Absolutely awesome burger and loaded fries.I would totally recommend to anyone.If you live pulled pork, slow cooked beef or fried chicken you must try this out.Photo is fried chicken burger with pulled pork and some fries loaded with slow cooked beef. I was completely satisfied with the meal and the service AAA+++

I'm not a fussy person nor do I leave reviews like this but I had to. Im thinking they have changed owner's as the food has drastically changed since the last time we dinned there . I'll start with the fact all 3 of us feel sick to the stomach after dining.Alot of money for a tiny amount of food , the fried chicken was 4 TINY amounts of chicken that was greasy and tasteless ( compared to the huge flavourful peices you used to get ). Suaces on the table were unusable to the point they didn't even move in the bottle . The gravy" that came with the chicken tasted foul and looked like 80% oil .I've worked in hospo and never trash service because I know how hard the industry is but the worker was appalling

Tasty food. New management is great and professional. Waiting for their pizzas to launch.

Extremely over priced .. Quality restaurant prices but the food was very basic, over cooked chicken and tastless burger. Lots of the menu was unavailable. 4 burgers just meat cheese and smothered in 2 sauces with side of chips for $70. Save your money and the disappointment you get better at McDonalds, BK or Carl's Jnr.

The group of us went, was vastly over priced, my partner got the worst fried chicken we've ever had, bland, overcooked, and greasy. My friend got the pork loaded fries and the pork was dry and the chips were overcooked. My burger was alright but nothing special by any means.
