They don’t want you using their power so they rent the wifi room out for meetings and there is one other plug in the whole place.Useless to people who can’t use their laptops without power

Cute but tiny library. Unfriendly to laptop users as they don't want people using the wifi for more than an hour or charging their devices. Very little study space. Also only one toilet so long lines. :(

This place is a great place to go.. Although encounters with a lot of old folk and dog chewed memorial books.. An old lady asked me to play the bagpipes with the books, I did as requested and all the books came flying off the shelves.. She stole my insurance information from me and I had to get all my teeth removed so I could pass the boomer check".. Left with no teeth and an illegal car.."

Welcoming and helpful staff, free access to public PCs and good collection of books. Great place to escape rain or sunshine :)

Nice library. Lots of rooms and variety of books. Room for mothers . Toilet available. Can take out books if you have a Tasman Library card.

Had a book sale on when we visited and got a bird book for only $2. They do have an hour of free WiFi if you need to connect when visiting Takaka, as I couldn't find any other hotspots.
