Quick and easy boarding, friendly staff and on time. The upper deck was open so that we could enjoy the views while sailing towards Rangitoto. We even saw dolphins on our way

Fast and friendly customer service. Depart and arrive in time. All went smoothly. Pet friendly sitting outside on deck with great views.

What even was that?Firstly, the staff member upon arrival wasn’t too helpful - his customer service needs a bit of work. No biggie. The girl was warm/friendly. Waited ages in the ferry terminal, only to be told quite literally AS WE ARE BOARDING that the 12:15, 2:15pm return service now won’t be happening, and the only one will be at 4:15pm. Reason being was the boat in use during those earlier times is apparently too large to dock.No compensation for a day/trip planned and wasted, petrol usage, parking fares: all because of your literal last second surprise cancellation. Merely told by staff to request a refund online. As my sister and dad got to the top of the ramp, the Skipper decides to chime in and say “get a refund” as if that’s some sort of wonderful thing Fullers is doing. As I’m clearly frustrated at the situation, I advised him this is awful customer service to make last second announcements like this. He said “it was advised from yesterday on the website.” As we walked away, my sister checked all on the website and there were no announcements anywhere (schedule for the day also still showed a 12:15, 2:15pm return also from Rangitoto, so false advertising?) - so unsure why the Skipper said that as it wasn’t true. Moreover, a website announcement is hardly satisfactory these days, a customer’s email or phone number is far more appropriate - which is standard in the transport industry. An absolute subpar experience from Fullers, this seems to be a trend given other reviews. Do better please.

Eventhough we had rough seas and an extra stop at Devenport we enjoyed seven rain showers on the Island and hiked a lot.

Took the ferry to and from Waiheke island. Service is great and we enjoyed the ferry ride very much! We were on the deck until it got a little too chilly. Great view!

Used the Devonport wharf to go to Rangitoto island. Handy machine to print out the ticket which I paid for online ( was cheaper this way ). Friendly staff and clean vessel made for a great day andAwesome trip.

Booked a week prior leaving Devonport to Rangitoto leaving at 9.15 and returning on the 12.20 ferry, left early in the morning with family members. Waited 40 minutes and as we were boarding we were told that there will be no ferry picking us up at Rangitoto until 4pm….. so they wanted us to be stuck on Rangitoto island for 6 hours. The captain said that it was updated on the website a day before which was a complete lie. Also the lady scanning our tickets at the gate confirmed the midday ferry. Waste of paid parking, no customer service skills just told us to call Fullers for the refund.
