Incredible staff and service. A little quirky and kitschy in the best ways imaginable. Delicious espresso martini. Great tap selection. Beautiful view, amazing sunset. Rowing Club established in 1900. If you can only go one place in Wellington, go here :)

Great cafe on Petone esplanade. Service staff were attentive and friendly. Food was a generous serve and very tasty. Highly Recommend the donuts!!!

Seashore Caberet is a great place to go for brunch.The food is excellent and there is a good selection to pick from. The Truckers' breakfast is really tasty.The service is always very good, and the views towards Wellington and across the bay are beautiful.It's definitely worth a visit.

Pretty good however the service was quite slow for delivery of my simple scrambled eggs on toast. Coffee (long black) was sour and bitter so not so good on that front it wasn't that busy and they had more than 7 staff roaming around servicing people so I'm not sure why it was so slow.

Pie and pancakes were good, so was the coffee.Nice view from the window side tables, lots of interesting vintage decorations around the restaurant.For some reason the egg was missing from the bacon and egg sandwich"

Seashore Cabaret does much better than most eateries to maintain a high standard year after year.My experience is that about 1 in 40 meals leave me disappointed. That's not much when I've had five years of almost weekly lunches, mainly Truckers Breakfast (pictured with mushrooms separate) - sadly, the recipe changed last year but the sirloin was perfect yesterday. Avocado Smash (see photo) is another favourite. Espresso cake!Staff are generally happy to be there but the pre-Covid hilarity hasn't returned and we are sad to have lost some of the best staff we've met anywhere.Firecracker blend coffee seems good for most people, not as mellow as I prefer but nor is it bitter/burnt.

Very crowded. Place had great vibes. But food was only so-so. Service was attentive despite the crowd. I managed to get a table outside with a gorgeous view of Petone beach.

The outside of the building had me nearly run away to be honest but I’m so glad that I didn’t! Inside the cafe is really awesome with lots of cool things to look at and they have old school pinball machines!!! The staff were all lovely. It was great coffee!! The eggs bene with bacon was sooo good, it had heaps of perfectly cooked bacon. The kids pancakes were a 10/10 according to my son. Definitely would recommend dining here

The sourdough toast was chewy, tasteless and burnt. The smoked salmon was more like poached salmon that has just been microwaved out the freezer. The entire breakfast was pretty tasteless, overpriced and disappointing. Coffee and vegan cookie was ok. The inside of the cafe is really nicely decorated, fantastic location and good atmosphere. I would return for a coffee, nothing more.
