I needed to renew rego, a 2 min job. Waited in line for 15 minutes before being told oh sorry we are closing soon. Go to riccarton or rangiora instead. It is 11:15am on a Friday.Second time I have been here, they were just as useless the first time.

I went to AA Shirley centre this morning and it was very busy, the lady who served me was really lovely and helpful. I am happy to recommend them and understand that waiting time is out of their control.

Tried renewing my licence here, but because the original that I was trying to renew was mildly scuffed they refused to serve me. Completely unhelpful, no sympathy, will not be back.

Customer service always makes going to places like driver licensing etc a good or bad experience. The lady who served me was so friendly informative and knowledgeable she made my experience there quick and easy but most of all pleasant. She's a customer service star. I believe her name is Asmi I remembered her name just this morning so I post it here in thanks for her lovely manner.

Came in with the partner to get the rego on the car sorted and lined up waiting for 45 mins at 1 on a Monday. The staff are just chatting to the older customers about dogs and the weather and about someone's holiday. There's a line of 11 people waiting! Couldn't believe it, no wonder there's security cause of the staff just casually taking their time. People must get so annoyed.Please be a bit more considerate of people time thankyou.

Dropped in the other day to do some driver licensing stuff, been served by Darcey, defenately one of the best customer service I've received, Darcey was patient and knowledgeble, explained everything clearly, answered all my questions in detail, very pleasant to talk to. Excellent woman serving us but not enough staff as she only one on counter. 2 others at desks, 2 bits rubbish on floor on opening at 8.30 but no staff bothered to pick it up...was surprised as this is AA.

First time using this branch for a license renewal.I was thoroughly impressed by the excellent customer service and professionalism. I would say the Shirley branch is ten times better than the Riccarton one. It's quicker service especially in the morning. My test took approx ten minutes and I waited twenty minutes in a short queue. Five stars!!
