Lovely cafe. Busy, with a good atmosphere. They are obviously short of hands, but the service was good and the coffee excellent.

The sandwich was freshly prepared while we waited. You can choose from a list of ingredients. The coffee on our second stop was very good too. Thank you to the lovely team!

Don't go the mile let alone the extra mile. We called in to check the takeaway menu..door sign said they closed at 5pm..so I called from the motel at 345pm...3 times no answer. Drove back at 415. Woman serving icecreams said no to takeaway as she shut down the fryers some time ago. I asked her why she didn't answer her phone..said too busy. This is a tourist attraction. Businesses need to better to survive. Do well? Well that takes more than she could deliver.Stick with sandwiches..hot food.....no. I'll avoid Manapouri in future..no food available. Had to travel 20km to Te Anau. May as well stay there too.

Called at shop today looking for tea at 4.45pm. Although everything was turned off and the kitchen closed for the day Donna was more than obliging to cook the 6 of us all a feed.The hoki and chips went down a treat and we'll be forever grateful for Donna going the extra mile feeding us all. 10/10

The café is alright with cozy tables and a comfy corner with sofa. The staff was rather apathetic. The dairy shop is extremely small and costly, but at least there is something in this tiny town.

A huge thank you to the lovely Donna who made my daughter a chocolate milkshake after our long bush walk. It was right on closing time and you happily went out of your way to put a smile on her face, so appreciated.

You can't beat the view sitting outside enjoying a wonderful coffee and food, including a Jimmy's pie and gluten free slices. Well worth the stop.

Lovely staff, genuinely friendly, we had a pue, cheese roll and two coffees..all were delish. So we went back and bought 2x Chicken salad and pasta..really tasty and great value too. Going for breakfast tomorrow! Highly recommend! Fantastic views too! Thank you
