Just had a team of 2 technicians come by to fix our broken fibre cable. Both were very professional and polite and the job was finished in a reasonable time frame. I would also like to thank the woman I spoke with on the phone, she was extremely helpful and informative. All around a great service.

This is most unbelievable company I ever dealt with. Had ordered for fibre broadband from Contact a month ago but was never online due to fact that their vendor Enable is still working on the fibre issue. Calling Enable customer support is useless as they do not have an answer and always put you on the line with their engineer with NO RESOLUTION.

When we bought our home almost 3 years ago, we connected to the fibre network in Kaiapoi. Since then, our network connectivity has been an on again off again thing, with frequent stoppages in the middle of programs and access to the network.. when we tried to get help from Enable, we were told to talk to our provider. We have contacted our provider who told us there was a problem and they tried to fix it. Since then we have had continuous problems and even went as far as to change providers. Still the same problems. Is Kaiapoi a bad spot for internet access, or do we have a fault in our fibre? Several people have told me that they think there is a problem in the area. Any advice from others who have had problems here and solved them would be appreciated.

My friend and I recently moved into a new house and organised fibre to be set up before we moved it, it has now been 3 months since we moved in and still no fibre. Everytime someone new comes by to install it something else is apparently wrong. We had two guys come to install it on Monday and reckoned they couldn’t because a cord was too short then our electrician came by and gave it a soft pull and there was a good meter of wire there. Terrible experience

Enable - you seriously need to look at your internal systems & customer service – unbelievable how many 1 star reviews you have below - you should be embarrassed about such disgraceful customer service. For those thinking of signing up with fibre – DON’T! Save yourself the headache and give Vodafone a call – a MUCH smoother process for similar internet speeds – wish I had stuck with them instead of signing with Trustpower for fibre. We placed an order through Trustpower for fibre on 5th February. After 3 months we at last got notified a week ago that work can be done today to bring the fibre up our accessway – however, today no contractor turned up to do the work! Quite a let-down after a 3 month wait for it to happen.Don’t bother trying to call them as their phone system automatically disconnects your call after you’ve been on hold for an hour! Happened to me twice! They can’t answer their phone within an hour – very poor customer service!Enable do respond to emails within about 24 hours - seems to be the only way to reach them.

Enable don't deserve even 1 star! Firstly, the 2 guys took all day to make a shallow trench up our drive way (With a machine not with a shovel). I've seen my partner dig much bigger trenches in less than half the time they took. Secondly, when they eventually finished, they couldn't tidy up or fill holes properly. At the end of our drive, they didn't pack the holes they had dug out and they just threw the grass seed down (and only at the end of the drive). They dumped a heap of dirt behind our gate in the bush (wasn't very discret) and they left a hole in the garden where the live main cables are. In addition our garden were they worked was left in a mess including our driveway. What disappoints us the most is my partner complained to Enable about it and they never responded! Absolutely useless company and unprofessional. If you are going to work at a customer's property, you need to leave the property tidy and how it was when you got there (with a few exceptions). Common Sense. Sort yourselves out and learn to do your job properly.

Hi there! For some reason we haven't got our fibre connection yesterday and nobody contacted us to let us know about cancellation. We had to cancel a shift at work for being connected. It's definitely not something I would call a good customer service.Application №704272upd 31/05 no changes. seems like you should be called disable, not enable ...

Enable has been nothing short of painful with my connection (I’m still waiting for it to be completed might I add)It has been 4 months now that I have waited for my fibre to be done and I have had the 10-15 day wait excuse countless times and every time they’ve come there has been a new issue! No updates unless I hound them and their customer service is atrocious.. Highly disappointed and would not recommend
