Farmers Albany

May 2023Another great Farmers store to shop in. The staff were certainly helpful when we asked for particular items that may be available. Farmers Card membership was certainly very well worth it and substantial discounts were available on the items we purchased. We ended up shopping here twice on the same day having looked at othe competing shops in the mall. Cleanliness seems to be a priority too, which helps make shopping at the Farmers a pleasant experience.

Quality of Savannes mens trousers is questionable. Below par for the cost. Overall great shop

Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable of brands on hand. The return and exchange process is very easy. Though only managers who are not always on hand can issue refunds, on busy days that may be difficult to get so you will be issued with a gift card. Maybe Farmers should consider having a dedicated counter for refunds , exchanges and inquiries etc...

Lovely items, pricey but good quality. Been shopping here for years but staff can be unfriendly/cold sometimes. Wanted to return an item but they don’t offer refunds, only “Farmers” gift cards that you can only use at their stores. When I asked for my money back instead, as I don’t want to be forced to use it at Farmers, they told me “can’t help you, that’s our policy” shrug. I find it forceful and frustrating. My money should be my decision where I spend it.

Just went in to get some Lancôme foundation. The lady that helped me was so incredible, helped me find the perfect shade, was very patient and so so kind. Thanks guys great work

Good spacious store, but hard to find parking if you visit during peak hours as this is the always the case with Albany Mall Westfield. The store has double level and an escalator and elevator withing the store you can visit with a trolley from supmarkets as the store is very spacious in space. Recommending a visit. 4 stars due to parking issue.

The unused dressing room in the middle of the dress dept should be open. The one open is so far away especially for people with walking difficulties so often I just walk away and go elsewhere

I had Robyn help me at the Fragrance section. Needed something for Valentines Day. She was extremely helpful and kind. Such great customer service.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.Went to Farmers this afternoon with my partner to browse some perfumes with an intention of buying one.As soon as we walked into the perfume section, they made us VERY uncomfortable. They spoke loud enough for us to hear, saying stuff that implied that I was going to steal the testers or the perfumes themselves. They even started taking some testers down because they were just so sure I was going to steal… They also approached us multiple times and it almost felt like they were surrounding us.I understand it is important to be aware of thieves but that is just pure discrimination. We felt so uncomfortable. I am seventeen and I probably make more than these employees lol. Sort your staff out. Just because I don’t look like your standard of fancy, doesn’t mean I’m going to steal.

Usually don’t write reviews for anything, but I had to for this one cause I’ve never experience anything so poor…I’m a very reoccurring customer at this farmers and have always been treated with open arms, but todays experience was not the same. I came in looking into purchasing a new cologne that I could possibly take overseas. I’m not very experienced with colognes myself so I asked the man working in the area for some support and this is where my experience just went down hill.The way he interacted with me came across arrogant and that he looked at me like I was a time waster. I asked several questions and tried to get some support, but all he gave was short answer that seem like he didn’t care and was ready to move along with whatever he had to do…After going through several options of cologne of me panicking to choose at this point because I felt pressured being in his presence, I decided that I wouldn’t get one from here because I didn’t feel welcome. He then looked me down and told me to do my research and left…Is this the kind of customer experience you guys try to advocate working in sales? He should get himself checked with that such of an ego. Not coming back to that farmers again
