Highly recommended team of professionals! Tim rescued my property development project and led it to completion – this was a challenging and specialized task that required consents, compliance, regulatory, legal and internal council knowledge. The project had been abandoned by the original builder, and Tim managed to negotiate with the subcontractors and council stakeholders to get the job to completion. He was very knowledgeable, professional and efficient throughout the entire process.I look forward to working with Tim\HD again in the future.

When I was thinking of building a new home I approached Home Design. Tim was nothing but helpful. I found him very knowledgeable. As I've decided to go a different route my experience with HD is limited but the little I had was very positive. I'm sure Tim would be a great person to work with.

Worst company to deal with.We are currently in the NZ High Court against this company.They are in the process of LOSING and the engineers they engaged conceded before even going to court and were never in court to defend themselves.Auckland City Council engineers in court agreed that the construction of the slab was not designed to meet the ground conditions.There maybe no court ruling on this but this will be because we have got the desired outcome and will now be building our new home with a competent and trustworthy building company.We are going to win this and Tim Walters will try and tell you it’s someone else’s fault but it’s fully on him.Tim Walters intentionally engaged an engineer to provide a fraudulent producer statement for the testing and certification of the engineered fill and this is just one of the issues he was responsible for.So many other bad things to say about them (none of them small issues).Our new home was not built to the Building Consent and we have been advised by Engineers that it does not meet Building Code and will all need to be pulled down.This isn’t at all about just bad engineering but too many other bad and negligent building issues that Walters has done.We are out so much money and we in currently the New Zealand High Court against this company, Concrete Engineering and Auckland City Council.This can viewed free of charge as a matter of public record in the New Zealand High Court where the reference is CIV-2020-404-1426.Be careful with regard to the other reviews you read about this company.This review should create enough doubt for you to chose anyone else but this company but if you still unsure ask your lawyer to review this case before you sign anything.If we had been warned we would NOT have engaged this company … YOU HAVE NOW BEEN WARNED
